Art trade with . He originally just wanted an armor design based on the "Killers" from AvP Three World War. I... um... wandered off someplace else while he wasn't looking. I blame my Conan comics and Clark Ashton Smith's stories for this. Dammit, sometimes I just need to draw tentacle-monsters!The Killer in the foreground has claymores. He is misusing them. But deep down, he knows that he's not going to walk away from this one.
Also, Down With Genetic Augmentation. From this comes MONSTERS. Not that monsters are a bad thing, mind you, but some of us are Predator *PURISTS*. *sputterlaugh*
Color comin' soon. Anyone else who wants to take a stab at it in the meantime is welcome to do so.

Wow, I really love the sense of a dramatic struggle in this picture. O.o Although the way the Predator's right leg is angled/pulled looks extremely painful.

I was definitely trying for almost-epic. I think I needed to work on a bigger drawing surface, but I wanted to try to get this trade piece finished before the end of the year.

Predator755 was particularly keen on the "killer" designs from the last Predator and AvP comic series and wanted me to incorporate them in this picture. I like the whole demon-samurai aesthetic anyway.

It was a very good idea! I'd love to see incorporations of some more unorthodox cultures, like Vikings. That'd be a strange mix!
