I know there are places where your eyes get lost right now. Rest assured that I'm still fiddling with the color balance.

LOL - Ohhh, if only I'd had those tentacles under better control... This is definitely a concept that I want to revisit. It was my first attempt to squash this many characters into one scene, and I think some of them get lost in all the tentacly detail.

Yeah. Projects like this have their roots in my commissioned work that involves Hindu deities and Greek monstrosities - the more waving limbs/tentalces/claws, the better!

*goes cross-eyed* O.o So many colors... Tentacles writhing... This is gonna look fantastic when its done. I like the Yautja demon; going into battle with a can-opener is always good. ^.^ He looks like he was inspired by some of the nifty Indian deities. Kali is my favourite.

The big red guy was definitely inspired by Hindu deities, though the can opener was a lark that I stuck in there to see if Yen-ta was paying attention. Then I liked the goofiness of it so much that I decided to go ahead and keep it - now I need to come up with a reason *why* the nut-god went into battle with such a strange object....
I love the whole multi-limbed approach to divinity and I needed something that was a high-contrast colored object to stick in the middle of the composition. I'd been sketching this particular guy for several days already and I thought it was high time that he actually got himself into a picture that didn't involve beeping somebody on the nose.

Me has come to realize that your Predators are much cuter zan the ones in the movies :3 Their faces don't look near as awkward to me as in zeh films

I think one of the reasons for that is because I tend to make my Predators into distinct "people", whereas the guys in the movie are supposed to read "monster". I want to make my bunch approachable to some degree.

LOL - Indeed! I've been meaning to do one of these insideously challenging types of pieces of Predator fan art for quite some time now. Yen-ta gave me an excuse with his request that I draw both his and my Pred characters doing something crazy together.
I've got some Avatar fan art I'm going to draw out tomorrow, I think. It's about time I stuck my nose firmly into this fandom. Aang and that Fire Nation friend of his from a hundred years ago will be first - what the heck was that kid's name... Kuzan! Yes. Flying and fire... BWAHAHAHA ...and then I need to do something about Lady-Rai-Frost's eighteenth chapter of Conquest. I have the urge to draw snow leopards.
