Description
Caught in the final moment, before the loss of her mortal innocence. The Lord of Darkness gives his mortal bride one final look before the embrace. Sadness strikes his eyes...For many centuries he has lived; alone, eternally young, and just as cruel; his cold blackened heart melted by the sight of a young tender maiden. "Is this love he wondered" as he gazed into her beautiful eyes... pacing through a garden that withered and died around him; he couldn't get her angelic demeanor out of his head. For days she haunted him... and now; the final moment of her life as a mortal.
Too aware that all beauty must die one day, that everything tender and mild will fade away as dust. He accepts her request, but with pain... for he knows that with the immortality comes a great curse... never again will this beautiful bride of his be able to welcome the morning sun, never again will she be pure and innocent. And it pains him, for he knows... this is his doing.

I believe in romance, and nothing speaks to me like Vampire and Human romance... even though it's fiction^^ The background you see there is inspired by Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust! Fantastic anime with all it's vampireness^^

Yeah, I think there's something appealing to the thought of immortal love. The whole concept got to me when I first read Bram Stoker's Dracula. I think it's such a beautiful idea, really
Ahh you should definitely go and have a look. This isn't like the typical anime stuff that you see out there. It's exquisitely drawn, and it has a great mood, great sounds; you should check out one of the streaming sites - some of them offer high quality streaming^^ Though of course, I had to buy the DVD^^

Yes, you're completely right, but generally immortality attracts me as well. I just can't stop thinking about this, about vampires and this whole bloody ,,shit", vampireness.
I will have a lot of time during X-mas, so, if I won't forget (I really suck at remember different things), I will watch it. I'd like to watch something good at least.

Immortality attracts me as well, not because of fear of death, but because there's a certain charm or romantic thought surrounding the whole living forever^^ And if I can be a vampire as well - count me in, haha.
Well, hopefully you will be able to watch it then! I thought it was wonderful - wonderfully drawn, wonderfully told and narrated - effectively one of the best animes of all time.

Yeah, it did! It totally left me speechless as I was watching it. For not only was it one of the most visually impressing animated movies I had ever seen, and still have ever seen... it was also featuring a really charming deep heartbreaking love story... gotta appreciate stuff like that^^ Oh yeah, and I feel fortunate for owning the DVD

Yeah, but that's unfortunately the way all things are headed^^ Ahh, I don't know... I think the epic battle between Sephiroth and Cloud is the best part... that and Clouds battle against Bahamut... I think I had major goosebumps seeing that part.
