Description As the butterfly passes over, he sends an awakening to bring her tattoos to life.


This actually started out as practicing hands, and one thing led to another. I was very happy with the hand.


I've added some upclose shots at 100% view, because the painting is very large.

One thing I cheated with is that some of the tattoos are dingbat fonts.

I am so glad you added the close-up links. Otherwise, I wouldn't have notice the wonderful reflection of that butterfly in her eye. That butterfly has a 3-d look to it. Impressive work as always, my friend. You have diffinitely master 'hand' drawing!!!! The hand looks quite realistic as does the entire piece!!!!

Oh, thank you so much, Fran. I have been practicing alot digital painting, but I have to admit that most of my stuff is still drawn on paper first then scanned. Drawing on the tablet is not my forte'
