It looks so real!
I guess that's one of the cool things about aerodactyl... it looks a lot like a real pterosaur.

This is great! The bone structure is not correct in many places but that is something I only noticed on the large picture. But ignoring my pessimistic side the detail in this is amazing. Great job!

Yeah, it was hard finding the kinds of fossil refs I wanted, plus skeletons are just hard for me to draw in particular XP I could just use the excuse that it's a fantasy animal, but that's a bit of a cop-out and I was trying to get it more or less anatomically correct. Any specific crits you could give?

One of the specifics is that the femurs have no ball at the head.
The biggest thing is that the ends of the bones are rounded off and most joints are not like that, but I will say again that this is a great piece. You must have spent a long time on this. (sorry it took me so long to write back. the computer had a massive virus on it and mom finaly got fed up trying to fix it herself and took it in)

A fossil! That's such a clever idea! Because I guess you wouldn't photograph many living pterosaurs!

This one seems to have been miraculously preserved. Every part fossilized, and each right where it was supposed to be. And even the wings fossilized. If only we got more of this type of fossil in real life!

But in the pokemon game, isn't aerodactyl not even brought back from a fossil of itself? I remember it being brought back from an amber fossil, which I always guessed contained an insect with aerodactyl blood inside it. I just want to know what bloodsucking bug pokemon was in that fossil! That's an idea for the next generation!

This is really cool, and fairly original too (at least for me). I can't say I've ever seen anything quite like it before done at this level of detail.

Aerodactyl is <3. Nice one

HELL YES

Say, I'm curious... in your opinion, what group(s) of dinosaurs/prehistoric reptiles would Aerodactyl most likely be affiliated with? Anatomy-wise, I mean.

Wow, I love this. When I saw the original thumbnail I thought I was looking at a real fossil, no joke Oo; The stone textures are amazing, as is the fossil itself. Aerodactyl has always been a personal favorite of mine...

Wow Looks like the ones you see in the games. I want to take it to the lab and get it resurrected!
But it would probably eat me ... eh, what do I care? I already love Gyarados so how much worse can it get? This is great. And hey, I promise I will do some more Telefang (and Pokemon) arts when I get a chance. The semester started again so I have been busy.
