Another shot of Rin~These pictures really hurt my eyes >___< We turned the lights off so it was pitch black then BAM epic flash in my face D8; it was also hard to know where to look XD

Aww thanks! I don't really cosplay Rin anymore, though I will be diong her Alluring Secret ~Black Vow~ cosplay hopefully at the end of this year

I have soooo much planned for this year.
I have 2 cons and 3 shoots in the next month (4 costumes, Rin, Ciel, Aang, Captain Jack and Meiko).
Then another con in July, which is Train from Black Cat. For Main Animania I have 2 cosplays.. and I have more photoshoots after that... but I keep losing track XD

I know some people who just have so many cosplay plans they do 4-5 costumes to a 2 day con just to get them all done XD it's crazy! And yeah sometimes for a comp they have a difficult uncomfy costume and they change later.
Yeahhhhh the money does help fund my cosplaying etc XD

I used this tutorial here: [link] to make the shirt bit. For the pants I used a pair of short shorts I knew fitted me as a guide and just measured it all out from those. The rest I just made up as I went, and it's probably not the best ways to make the arm/leg covers or headphones xD

Do you mean the headphones? They're very badly made, I did them the day before the event and had no idea what I was doing XD
I covered a plain headband in white material (couldn't find a white one to buy anywhere). Made the bows, though I would suggest putting thin wire around the entire edge inside the bows to help them stay up (I didn't do this and bahh it was so annoying).
As for the headphone pieces I used bulsa wood XD cut it out into the shapes I needed, covered it with white material (didn't have time to paint them) then used felt for the detailing and hot glued it on.
The headphones originally had a microphone on them, but they were falling apart so I broke it off to use it for my Gumi headphones. I just hot glued it to the back of the headphone pieces though XD then the headphone pieces and bows were glued into place and BAM!
Sorry I don't have any progress pictures of them to help explain it better D8;

For the shirt I used this tutorial:

But somewhat changed it, I didn't have the clip for it to open cos it could slide on and off over my head without it.
As for the shorts, I used a pair of shortshorts I already owned... and measured the pieces out and copied the general shape onto material (including seam allowance~) and sewed it together. They were probably the hardest part!
The belt was just an old belt covered in yellow material, then the orange ones I used a roller cutter to cut each triangle out then hot glued the ends on the front and glued the bottom of the material to the black of it. I used an old broken pair of suspenders/braces for the bit on her side and glued the clip to the front piece, the back is just held on with a hair tie XD
The shoes I had were just white and I glued yellow material along the rubber sole. The arm and leg pieces I cut out a rectangle to size, sewed a diagonal line to get the flare then added the detailing and the yellow edging (I'm sure there is a better/proper way of doing it, but this was one of my earlier costume and I'm self taught ^_^" ~ ).
I don't know if you can see it in this picture, but the yellow bow on the front isn't actually material tied up... they're all individual pieces sewn on XD

I wanna try and see if I can get it done. I havent started school yet. But I'm thinking of trying to do it after school and get it done sometime in the middle of the school year so I can suggest we do a cosplay day in our Otaku Club at school. (This coming school year, I'm gunna be the Secretary. I WAS gunna be Vice but they changed their minds at the last minute.)

Aw that's cool you guys have an Otaku Club x3 my school didn't let me start one at my High School, though I'd have been the only member probably XD I live in the middle of no where, anime/etc isn't very accepted around here.
