First cosplayed Rin back in September last year, but unfortunately I never got any proper photos of it PLUS my wig didn't arrive until the day after.... FFFFF-So now that I've sold my wig, I thought I'd do a quick shoot at home to get some proper pics before the wig was gone x3
I have now retired my Rin Kagamine cosplay and all further Vocaloid projects I have planned will primarily be Gumi, Lily or Kaito. Dependent on what version our little vocafamily is doing and what characters are needed :3

Hmm it wasn't too difficult, it was only my 3rd costume I made. I just looked up a tutorial on how to make a seifuku. The pants I used shorts I already owned as a guide to make them ^__^
Ohhh I love her Append outfit! I was going to do it, but our Vocafamily already has a Rin XD I just drift between whatever characters are available most of the time XD haha.

Haha so many choices! It's great. Haha yeah I wasn't too fixed on her Append outfit though, cos I mainly do other Voca's now so I'm not really worried about it XD I have more plans for Gumi, Lily, Rin, Meiko, Kaito anndd.... I think that's it for now. Various outfits of those guys.

Variety is good! (Though I can't say I'm too happy with the new vocaloids that are coming because they're starting to sound too similar to each other.... their designs are epic though, haha)

Yeah I've found that too.. maybe they're just creating them for people to cosplay rather than use for the program xD

This costume has been retired, though since then I've added two other costumes of Rin's to my list ^__^ no set dates for either one though.

She's retired cos I don't have a Len to do all the different versions with, and our accidented Vocafamily already has a Rin/Len XD Plus I don't have the wig anymore~ I sold it to Crunchie for her new Rin wig
I'm quite happy to be the Gumi/Lily or whatever other character is needed for our groups

I've only been cosplaying about 18months, and I feel like such a n00b even against people younger or who haven't cosplayed as long as I have~ XD I lack skill~ But I just do it for the fun

I try to make as much of it as I can... but for stuff like school shirts... why make it when I can just buy it xD saves me time/money/stress and it looks a lot better than what I would produce xD
Not pro ~ I duno what I'm doing xD I just draw the pieces up, cut them out and hope they work 8D trial and error!
Yeah I like it to be fun. I mean I still take it seriously in that I put so much time/effort and money into it, but I probably wouldn't do it if it stopped being fun... Even when I have entered comps.. I don't go all srs bzns, I still wona have fun in the costume!

Yeah I like the challenge of recreating some of it but like school uniforms and stuff... bah, I just buy the shirt. Though this time for Rin I'm making his pants XD
I can't follow patterns at all. I don't use them x3 I just look at the costume... sorta try figure out what a particular piece should look like drawn flat and go from there with measurements XD
Yeah, but some cosplayers don't have the most amazingly perfectly made costumes... but they're still awesome cosplayers and hilariously funny and just great people in general

She then said that it's really hard to pull off cosplaying Gumi, she's only seen one Gumi cosplay that was really awesome and well done!
