This is my contest entry for Icy - I finished earlier then I thought I would

Name: Adella
Gender:Mare
Age:18 years
Height: 17 hands

Story: Adella was the nromal daughter of normal parents - she was always a pretty little girl, sweet tempered and curious. One dy she met a witch. The witch could do amazing things - take control of the weather, wind, rain, plants...everything. Adella was seized by the desire to learn these things. She asked the witch to teach her , and pretty soon she was able to mater minor things.

One wild night a thunderstorm was raging. Adella was so scared because she was afraid of it hitting her (did I mention she s stuck up a bit? XD) so she was determined to control the lightning. She sent out her newfound powers, confident and cocky. At first she felt like she was winning, but then it fel like the lightning was connecting with her. She was begining to get scared, but she oculdn't let go of the lightning. It wrapped around her, and she couldn't drop the magic. Slowly she went limp, and the lightning released her. When she awoke, she felt this sizzling anger left in her, the need to rampage and spark. She leapt up and went galloping down the beach, such a beautiful terrible anger. Now she had the power - the storm had given it to her. But the storm had given her its personality, ferocious, with short temper and a huge confidence. But the Adella of the sweet little girl sometimes appeared on the calmest of nights.

Now Adella spark lightning about her front hooves, and was able to sprout wings of lightning. Storm clouds painted on her quarters actually moved when her anger was sparked. And Adella discovered that she loved this power.

So this is Adella. If'n you can tell, she was a werid personality - like shes part storm and part old Adella.

Her desing is plain ...but then again its a nice kind of simple.
