Praise the lord, I actually colored this. O_O You wanna talk about procrastination... I drew this back two years ago. O_o Then, after realizing I needed to do some fanart for the upcoming San Japan convention (read my journal for more info on this), I decided to get off my ass and finally color this. Of course, my pencil work has slightly changed so I had to redraw some of this.Anyway, this is Vergil from Devil May Cry. He's the ultimate badass emo. Except, this emo has silver hair, not black. XD I'd like to do another DMC piece, with Dante. But. Ah. Damn. I'm sure procrastination will strike with a vengence again and I'll probably never get to coloring him. >_>

Very good. I'm glad to see how you actually know how to draw a violin. Too many people draw them all huge and clunky... If you ever draw a horse you'd better get that right too (pet peeve), but I'm sure you will

hah! I know! I play violin so i always get annoyed when the violin looks so off while the character playing it is rendered beautiful. it's call research. XD And damn right, if i ever draw a horse I'll definitely do my research and get it right. >.<

Heh, that is so Vergil. Composing an ode to victory and martial... stuff after sending tons of innocent souls to the better world. xD He looks so lost in the melody, the atmosphere is so peaceful and serene, that if it weren't for the skulls, I could have mistaken him for a normal, emotional person. xD

Procrastinator's unite! XD I have to be really motivated and actually like the pencil sketch, or ink..blobs *that's how my inking seems to come out anymore. I need better ink pens...* to even think of coloring it. Then sometimes I force myself considering it needs to be done. XDD
Anywho, moving away from my issues..., I love the violin! It can play happy, melodious tones, or sad, lethargic tones. He has got some tight pants, I'll tell you that! |D The skulls make an interesting touch, but this is DMC. If it doesn't have a skull in it, it's not worth look at, right?
I love the colors, and I'm glad you took the time to color it. :3 I like the muted tones, and the music notes, and 'score' I believe. Ah, I'm not a music guru. I have no idea...

Yeah, drawing those music notes was fun. I used to play violin so I tried to come up with a complicated score. Though, just so you know, I suck at making my own music. There's no telling *how* that song plays out.

Yes, because my drabbles wouldn't be complete without some David and Walter. I have finished most of my synopsis for the story involving David, Walter, and Chris. And I hope to get started over my Spring Break after I finish helping some people with something.

I would absolutely buy that. man, all your men are so delightful. I can really see this picture being poster-sized and it almost sort of reminds me of a deck-card.
I am so sad to admit I haven't ever played DMC before. It always looked cool but I always make up the excuse "I don't have enough time to play video games." But I think it's just because I'm too lazy to turn on game consoles... Photoshop is so much easier to turn on.
You have such magic with cool colors. I have to say it always seems like I'm so drawn to your faces and backgrounds (And usually clothing, but I'm guessing this is his in-game clothes. Nontheless they're very hot.)

Aw. I love commenting on your pictures! I love commenting. The egocentric-ego of me thinks people really care what I have to say about their art that they spent lots of time on... So I comment. But I especially like to comment your art so you're totally welcome.
Yeah, when the completion time is in the years-zone it's pretty bad. But it looks great so no matter. (And sometimes I'm glad I put pictures off because then I realize the next week how awful they are)
I know how that is. Sometimes waiting till the last second is okay. I happen to have this thing where I have to finish everything school-related(homework). So even if I do it last minute it's going to get done (After I set my watercolors aside... or my pens... or photoshop...).
Yes, faces are always so fun. I think they're really what makes a person and you do such a wonderful job on them. I always love how you add those cheekbones and all those different features and eggarate them just the right amount.
I like your backgrounds whether they're simple or extremely complex (birth of space series -insanely- detailed). Sometimes it's just nice to appreciate the "simpler" pictures where you can gaze upon the character or etc without distractions. (Haha. You're lucky. I have been told I draw nice backgrounds but when I add them it seems to knock everything off-balance... alas :C )

Wow, thank you! I was having a hard time coming up with a color scheme since i made this as a gray colored image. Then I applied textures and fooled around with color schemes I thought would work. Since it's Vergil, I chose something on the cool side of things. XD

haha, that violin was tricky. But it's actually a decent size. Any bigger and it would've been mistaken for a viola. O_o I've seen so many other people try to draw the violin and it was always comes off as bulky and clumsy-looking and bigger than it should be.
