For a long time I've wanted to do a new Sephiroth fanart. I know I did one way back when and I was kinda curious if I can depict him better/more epic with my current skill level. I think I'm happy?
This piece captures Sephiroth's determination not to get absorbed into the Lifestream. He's staring intently at his sword and is remembering his hate (-cough-obsession-cough-) with Cloud. 
Weeeh. I think I'm going through a Pablo Picasso blue phase since Acheron's color palettes were pretty 'moody' too.
I haven't been doing much art AT ALL until now. I'm starting to get my spark again and I got two more original ideas I'd like to complete this month. But wow, I've been really out of it this year. :/ I've had some nightmares related to the cons too, about me showing up with nothing new. It's the equivalent of coming to school naked. I guess that's why I'm not in the mood to do happy colorful art late. I'll try my best for the next pieces.UPDATE: Be sure to check out my Cloud piece I just completed!

It was a good choice to limit the palette and focus on those two main colours. Simple, and very effective.

I have a thing for dark/insane/psychotic characters for some reason. It sounds like I'm gonna enjoy Cloud.
