Description
Finally got this piece done! This was inspired by various things. First, my love for Halloween and Goth-y things. Second, my reading of 'Sexual Personae' by Camille Paglia (particularly the chapter on femme fatales). Third: one of my fanfics.
It's been awhile since I returned to dark, beautiful scene. I've tried to lighten things up in my gallery last year, but with the exception of Arata, my work has returned to darker themes lately. I can't help it; I'm intrigued by the mysteries of the unknown. My reading of Sexual Personae intensified this interest even more.
Time to get to work on a vampire piece now. I'm surprised I haven't done one before, lol. Still, it'd be appropriate for the Monster Con coming up.

As always, your artwork is amazing! From the water color texture, beautiful colors, the patterns, the bouquet in the foreground and the soft colors of the flowers in the background framing the darker subject matter who carries this air of mystery further emphasized by being half shrouded by a veil (which I especially like for that reason.) Overall its wonderful, beautiful, and the attention to detail makes me swoon XD

Wow this is absolutely amazing! I'm in love with the details and the colors
And the textures give it a traditional look, I wouldn't have known if you hadn't put it in the digital category.

It's actually a cross between traditional and digital media! I used to place my work under Mixed Media until people kept scratching their heads over that, lol. So I put it under Digital since it's easier to explain. But yeah, I always paint traditionally (I love getting my hands dirty!), then I switch to digital and repaint everything. I refer this method to 'fusion art' since it's from both worlds.

That's pretty cool, is there any process video or picture of you art? I'd love to see that, overall it's very impressive work!

Lovely, lovely work. I always enjoyed the dark feeling in your art, and plus - all those flower patterns give me the life I'm sure this will make a smashing print!

Thank you so much for checking out my art. I'm so happy you enjoy the dark aspects of it! It's something I've always been intrigued by. I think there's a beauty and mystery in this type of art, which is why I keep revisiting it.

Thank you so much! It means a lot to me. I can never tell if a piece is a hit or a miss sometimes; I stick with a painting for so long that all sense of perception is gone by the time I upload it.
