(UPDATE: So........ I don't know about you guys, but I think... this was a vast improvement.

LOL. This is what happens when you rush a piece. I tried to hurry this the first time to meet the artbook deadline. I was also excited about it... up until I hated it at the end. Something... just didn't seem right. And again and again, helene wanted me to use warm colors. O_o No matter how many times I wanted to use cool, she seemed very insistent that I use warm. So now... I don't know. This is what she wanted and so there. Happy now, Helene?

Gah... such a shame I can't resubmit this to the book. I asked twice but no one replied to my question. I'm guessing they already formatted my pic in the book and are jsut waiting for the late comers to post their stuff. *sigh* Oh well. At least this came out all right. Let this be a lesson, kiddies... patience is a virtue. T_T)

Kinda hate that DA doesn't allow for long titles. In any account, this was a fun drawing. It's my character, Helene, the mother of all werewolves who was created by Lucifer. She's his prized hellhound. You can learn a little more about her here: [link]

MAN I ain't doing curls again. T_T My fingers hurt. I had this cool idea in my head of Helene hiding within the shadows, staring deadly at any prey who got close to her. Sucks to be you, because she's staring right at you at the moment. O______O

Anyway, this picture is pretty funny. In fact, all my pics are funny in that, as I draw them, a hidden story reveals itself to me. I know. CORNEY. But it's true. I always start off drawing something, trying to get the image outside of my head, only for that image to become alive and become something different, both visually and metaphorically. I see this picture having two layers within itself. The broken shards of glass, for instance, reveals the beauty beneath. But within the beauty lies the beast.

Something I love about my Moondancer cahracters is that they're all beautiful but disgusting too. Everyone from Seth, to Helene, to Vincentius, to...everyone. XD I can't wait to start my comic so that you guys can see what I'm talking about.

Okay, so, I'm gonna submit this to 's book project. And I'll also be including this as part of San Japan's roster. XD
