COLLOABORATIONOk Blade2085 is all done with his RX-8 now, and he used MY vinyl as well, visit his page as well ~Blade2085 [link] . he is a super 3D artist, i like him better than dangeruss, yes i said that, i like him more than DANGERUSS!. anyway enjoy.
Oh, Im so HAPPY! MAN! Im gitty like a little girl that just got her first barbie doll. I love how my design looks like on his car.

are you playing nfsu2 on console or pc? im currently replaying nfsMW:black edition on the PC, I already beat it on the gamecube, the non black edition one. but on the PC, it just looks so much better and i think the game is a bit harder as well, or it could just be me.....lol, im using a PS2 controller on the pc version. later.

on a pc with a shi**y graphics card so it's not the fun it could be

well im sure it cant be that bad unless its an integrated graphics by intel, I have an ATI Radeon 9250 PCI, yes its a PCI, which is alot slower than AGP, but get this, the card was made in 2002 of october It hink, so thats pretty old as well, its got 256DDR buffer memory though, some pieces of most wanted arent rendered out right because of my old card, but other than that, if i turn off EVERY single effect, it runs smoothly at 50-60fps. all that is on is the mandatory motion/speed blur.

thanks, sooner or later i'll try the RX-8 again and have him make me a vinyl this time around.....I tried a year ago but gave up because it is kind of hard to make.

actually I didnt do the render, blade made the car and rendered it out, i just simply took the image and posted it on my page, all I made was the devilish style tribal vinyl, he took it and mapped it on his car, though its not easy making big big 2500x??px vinyls, well glad you liked it.

thanks, this would have never been possible if two things didnt happen, If i didnt stumble onto his page and commented and +fav, and if he didnt come on to my page and say thanks for the +fav's and see my work. everything happens for a reason i guess eh? so in the end, he asked me to do one for him.

You're getting better and better! nice job on the vinyl! But watch out for the radiosity artifacts (below the bumper). You can either increase the radiosity settings or you do a multi pass render and blurr it with photoshop.

I didnt render out the car, blade did, blade2085 used MAX, most likely Mental or VRAY from the looks of things.

Haha, well I really dont think Im better than Russ. Hes much better at rendering, lighting and texturing.....granted he's like 40 and Im half that, but still, ability is ability. I admire his work. I only wish I could make my renders as realistic as he can. But I do agree though, he looks like he just takes the car as is and makes it. Yeah he has mods on it, but his kits are kits that already exist. Maybe its just me, but I like to show people something new. Anyhow, Im gonna shut up now, lol. Im glad you guys like this

you said: "I only wish I could make my renders as realistic as he can." his renders on DA arent really all that realistic, they are more pseudo realistic than real. if you look at it, they are rather shiny as heck, Ive been talking to a few showoffs in the industry and they are good, really realistic compared to dangeruss and they have varied skills rather than just autos and anything inorganic. One big reason why I dont really like Russ anymore is because I havent seen him do people, hints of animations, or personal concepts, which is a big plus in my list, but he doesn't do any of those, and autos do get tiring after a while.

vinyls? um you got photoshop? i like this guy more because his style to me is more appealing to the younger generation of 3D enthusiasts, though he uses MAX, its all good, its fun to do collabs with other non-c4d guys.

well to make vinyls, you just need to know how to use the pen tool, or know how to make vector designs, not art, but designs.

Russ is an artist, not really a 3D modeler, I'm not too fond of artists anymore, meaning his 3D models are only rendered out and presented in one view, I like seeing more than one view, but you'll understand what i mean sooner or later. Ive been watching his stuff since 2002 and it seems to be repeating itself lately.
