Description
FInal RENDERS WILL HAVE MORE COLORS, NOT JUST THIS BARF COLOR!but the reason why i used this color is because, if you like the car, it doesnt matter what color
its in right?
Still need to add a few little things and some polygon fixes,
Dash is still pretty much the same, added a shift stick and the hole that
it goes in as well, the seats were given a backside, added a few
vinyls to it to match the car, put speakers in there as well. changed the inside
color of the car to a non reflective grey/black color(same as dash).Headlights were
kind of made off the top of my head, basically made a block, boolean holes, made it a
single object, then squared off most of the showing triangular polies that were
causing deformations. It hink its better than my usual tube and pipe headlights.
Added mufflers, Going to skip the wing this time around. Made a mirror inside the car,
kind of bulky, but oh well, um added a speaker box with a made up amp, very easy to
make. Um made some tail lights, they were drawn up in mspaint first, then i decided
to redraw them in photoshop because of its anti-aliasing feature. so the tail lights
are just circles and stuff drawn in PS. Added the lines to the back windshield, was
going to make a windshield wiper, but i remeber how much i hated making it for one of
my old cars a while back. um lets see, anything else? oh yeah, an intercooler(same
one as the one from the s15). and i also added a red donut thing to the front of the
car in the grill, I saw it on a couple of drift cars and thought it looked pretty
cool(actually i thought it was tacky, but after seeing it so much, you start to have a
thing with it). WEll later, gotta go, enjoy guys!, and Zac86, thanks for the
blueprints again!, front grill texture is from the skyline model that comes with the
program.
HOW DO YOU LIKE DEEZ NUTS?

for me civic 1992 - 95 is a legend, it's best civic ever (new one sux and previos is ugly), very nice modeling and now i wil;l critique you a 'lil bit
gear shift looks a bit funny, seat dosn't look comfotrtable ( build-in speakers aren't best idea and i think that on this seat driver wouldn't be holded enough on fast curves ) i like the tribal vinyls set but paint color isn't best and maybe you should think 'bout bodykit ? i like the rims, they're awesome. anyway great piece of modeling, keep it up

yeah interior is a bit dodgy, but hey, its my first ever interior, so i dont hink its too bad, i mean think about it, pretty sad, the first interior even though i have experimented with car modeling for about 3 years now, pretty sad eh? oh well, um the body, i like the sleep look, basically stock body with tribal vinyls and maybe a few decals here and there, but i love art on a car. Yeah still learning how to make tribals, i just pretty much blend a bunch of images that i see on the net in my head and then redraw them in PS. I'm glad you like my rims, i however dont all that much, but most of my friends said they liked it because it was different than all the other rims i've made thus far. i think the poly count was about 400K or so, most of the polies were in the Car mesh. Funny thing is that this is the FIRST time that the car model had more polies than one wheel, because most of the time, the wheel weighs twice as heavier than the car model. The seat is my first seat, not too sure how to make these, if you looked at my previous post, yoiu will learn that this is MY FIRST ACTUAL SEAT THAT I MADE BY MYSELF, and not with a partner that knew what to do. I got it totally by accident, and i took me 20 minutes of undos and redos and point manipulation, and i really didnt want to redo it over again. The speakers in the seats I love because thats how they are in my cousins car, two mids in your ear and one full sub under your ass boy! Not too sure how to make a gear shift, not too much into the whole cloth modeling yet, as that is why the seat took so long to make and the gearshift was just a tube with a modifyed sphere. and whole was just a small extrusion in the frame using N-gons. I didnt want to go too realistic, i like my cars being somewhat fake as I love 3D art, but on the 3D side and just on the border of realism, I dont want to go past that line, thats why my art differs from a lot of 3D artists. Everyone wants to make something look real, I just want to get it close but making sure its still fake as hell. so im just curious, have you found out your style yet THead?
later and sorry for the long comment back to you.

I know i got much to learn 'cause i'm fresh in 3d.Dont sorry for comment, i like comments like this where people desciribes all the problems ( it's something different than "great work", "nicely done"). later man and keep up good work

Looking good there are more details on this car than your others. Also if you want I can render some of your car finals.

no, thats ok, my heirarchy is a mess, and i really dont want to go through to see what was what, and which nulls actually contained something while other ones didnt, its a real mess, maybe when i set it up for selling, i'll drop you a note and give you a copy to render out alright?

nice work!!

I like the rims...
I mounted some 16spoke & pure white rims to my clio... like it that way, gives it a more racier touch
