Man this car is sweet. Nice work. Really unique and cool. Great concept. I wish it was lowered a little though. Amazing job.

Aahhh that's an awesome vehicle! I have some comments and suggestions, as well, if you're open to them lol Anyway the render layouts are awesome. The texturing is amazing and the detail is awesome. I really like the detail with (who is that? looks like a Fullmetal Alchemist image?) the 3 people on the front. The back of the car is a little strange though. It's a little too round, and the lights look kind of blocky against this surface. The texturing of the back lights is also not as good as the texturing elsewhere, though. The lighting really brings out the detail and the only issue with that is the visibility of the two characters on the hood nearer to the windshield. They're not very noticable under that light. The wing is awesome, looks really great and goes wonderfully with the whole design. Just my speculation, not that I'm an expert in any field of art in any form. Great job IMO it's awesome m8! ^_^

a little too round? really? i thought it was a little too flat, oh well.....the tail lights were my usual style, im sure you've seen it before, people putting vinyls on their tail light plates. the two holes on the front originally had a mesh grill on them, but i removed it because i put that full metal panic character on there. one other thing that bugged me but its too hard to fix now is the way how the lining of the car doesnt line up, look at the side, the fender arch goes up, then drops down for the door's lines to start up, but from there its pretty uniform, oh well, you lear as you go.

LOL too flat? Yes, I've the vinyls on the tail lights. LOL I was close - it was Full Metal Panic, not FMA. O.o Did I just confuse the names? o.O Anyway the mesh grill I'm sure was nice but the FMP characters really add a nice detail to it. The lining shouldn't be a major issue. The rest of the model detracts from the attention of the small mistake there lol ^_^

The last Starfighter was a science fiction movie produced in the 80's and featured the worlds first first 3d space battles on film. Among one of the many crafts was the StarCar which can be seen briefly in Back To The Future 2. [link] .

sPaCeBoYz is yet another science fiction creation although this ones designed by me. the GT [link] [usually with a number added to the end of that] was designed by my buddy ~sabaman and with his permission, I've added several modifications that i dont have to show at the moment. mostly tech upgrades, a weapons systems, and some interior details. sB is available only in script form at the moment and is one of a number of interconnected stories I've written. Theres more, but thats the general bit.

In short, I like the car. it has the right elements of my two favorites.

ahh, sabaman, he is actually the person who inspired me 2 years ago to someday create my own concept, he knows this, i told him in a note and he did reply. so thats what starfighter is....i can see what you are talking bout now, anyway thanks.

well according to that... it kills the Bugatti.
and that has W16 Engine (2x V8), 16 Raidiators, 1000BHP and 253Mph.... but will you be charging £800,000 for yours?
Nice layout of the renders, me like.

i just sort of stole jtclancey's layout and added a pattern fill to it in photoshop and a few other nick nacks, but i like it too, its very simple and great for promoshots. £800,000, no maybe £1,200,000, and only 25 will be produced and only a select few can buy it.

changed the image above and title as well, anyway im not sure why I made realistic specs, do you think it might have been better to go way fantasy instead like 800kph, with super hydro cross turbo's blah blah blah and make some other stuff up as well? or is it fine the way it is?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

steveee In reply to ragingpixels [2006-03-11 08:33:57 +0000 UTC]

The thing with realistic specs is it give the fantasy some form of reality, making it seem as this could actually be used in the future.
Its nice to keep both elements within the design
