So I'm way behind in all of my Model Contest stuff.
Hence the three-in-one picture of my late entries for 's Model Challenge run by !! From left to right:A Glimpse Through Time: The most recent prompt, each member of the challenge received an era of fashion and a representative image of it to base their outfit on. I got the Romantic period and this image: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/5… My take was a little fancier (and probably not accurate to the period but shhhhhhh) than the reference image, but I like it so whatevs.
I especially love her hair, actually! Nature: The oldest of the three prompts, this challenge was to take a nature scene and turn it into some kind of dress. I received this image of a reef: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/5… I decided to go with a picture skirt type of dress and reconstructed a reef at the hemline and reaching up. Then I did some gradient glow-draggie work to make it seem like the ocean was rippling above the reef, eventually turning the top into a light-colored.... sky, basically. I really like the reef I made for this one, personally; it's really rather accurate and it's visually appealing to boot!
The Baddest of the Bad: What Disney challenge would be complete without the villains? This prompt was to recreate our characters' outfits into the outfits/appearances of the villains from their parents' stories. Since my gal is the daughter of Ariel and Eric from The Little Mermaid, I of course got Ursula: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/2… This one's pretty plain, but then, Ursula herself didn't have a whole lot of adornment either beyond the intense makeup and the tentacles. I opted out of recreating ACTUAL TENTACLES (god no), and instead went with a billowy black skirt and just recolored the underside to make it LOOK like the tentacles.
I did some eye makeup but not a whole lot. I feel like she's too plain but at the same time I'm not sure how I would have spruced her up more, so she's just kinda... there. And there you have it! Harmony's missing three Model Challenge prompts!

The Romantic period dress is just wonderful. I love the bodice you made for it and the beautiful skirt. The colors look good together and look good on her as well. I love the way that her hair is up and the ribbon and flowers in her hair.
Oh, wow! Another awesome scenery skirt. I love the reef and sea life scene. Oh the fishy are really cute. I love the way that you made them for this scene. And wow the reef itself just looks teaming with life and I love all the colors in it. And I love the way that the dress does the color change down the bodice of the dress to the reef in the skirt. Beautifully done. Excellent and simply fantastic!
The styling of Harmony into Ursula looks fab. I like that it's a bit simpler than the other two outfits cause Ursula herself is not covered in great detail. I do love the purple coloring of the underside of the dress and the hint of the suction cups on the purple part. And I love her purple sleeves.
