Simultaneously an image for the FancyPants Kingdom and a contest entry for , this is a character sequence image for my Elf Enchantress, Amara Jewelfollower. The contest for the group focuses on OC's this month, so of course I picked Amara! This can also serve as a sort of bio page for her for future reference.

Name: (The Elf Enchantress) Amara Jewelfollower
Age: I.... have no clue how old these people are. Teens? 20-somethings? I dunno. I'm just gonna call her 18 because I headcanon she's pretty young compared to the rest of the kingdom.
Universe/World: Avalonne/The FancyPants Kingdom (Link to the group below)
Strengths: Excellent in battle, skilled in magic, good listener, great mediator
Weaknesses: Very introverted and not good in social situations, has a nasty temper where Elanil is concerned, tends to put people she loves/idolizes on a pedestal and can be devastated when they do something wrong.
Personality: Surprisingly meek for a guard, she does have a fierce streak. She's pretty content to follow Elanil's lead unless she's making an EXCEPTIONALLY bad decision, in which case Amara can and will slap the girl upside the head if necessary. And then they cry and make up.
Friends/Family: Ailas Jewelfollower (the Elf Warrior), Brother; unnamed Elf Noble, Father; unnamed yet well-known Fairy Warrior, Mother; the entire Royal Family of the Fairlands, adoptive family.
Enemies: At the moment, all/most of Rothere (there seems to be an ongoing battle between Avalonne and Rothere)
Love Interest: (the Elf Princess) Princess Elanil Stargleam, Heir Apparent to the throne of the Fair Lands.
Pets: She likes animals, but Amara has never had a pet of her own.
Favorite Color: Outwardly she says its a tie between gold and green, but inwardly its the blue of Eli's (pronounced Ellie) eyes. (Elanil knows and thinks its adorable; her own favorite color is the green of Amara's eyes.)
Hobby: When she's not desperately trying to protect her princess girlfriend, she dabbles in many things: botany, animal keeping, yoga/the medieval-type equivalent, etc.
Fun Fact: She and the other Elves have pointed ears, but this game does not include them so they're never shown that way. (I don't feel like trying to create them w/drag-and-drop items.)
Short background story: Basically, long story short is that she grew up in the Fair Lands, a neighbor to Avalonne. Just before she was to start training to be a guard for the Royal Family (like her mother), chaos descended upon the peaceful land. Plagues, marauders, and dark sorcerers waged battle upon the native inhabitants. Amara (and her brother and the Princess) grew to adulthood in these times, with the parental Jewelfollowers disappearing while on a mission shortly before the Elf trio left the Lands. Upon Elanil's 18th birthday, an attack was waged on the castle itself, so the King and Queen sent their daughter and her 2 Elf protectors to their neighbors in Avalonne. (The Queen and the elder rulers of Avalonne, presumably the Queen Ruffelle's parents, were good friends-possibly relatives? Will check that over with funnies- who she thought would willingly take in the young adults.) So Ailas, being the eldest, lead the 2 girls into Avalonne and up to the Ruffelle Queen's palace. (Along the way the 2 girls who were friends became girlfriends, but that's not terribly important now.) They arrived and were quickly let in and sent to bed, having had little rest on their journey. Amara had finally thought they were safe-until Rothere attacked. So here we are now, Amara and her little group fighting for Avalonne against Rothere. (They felt guilty for not helping their own home so they decided to fight for this new one.)

A bit of description on the outfits shown here: the first is kind of a workout/yoga outfit for Amara. It's very relaxed and movable, something she'd wear in the early morning as she prepared for her day. (If she doesn't happen to want to wear her pajamas, that is.) The 2nd is very close to her normal outfit (FancyPants Kingdom: The Elf Enchantress ), with a few small differences (mostly the knife; it's a small hunting knife that she sometimes uses). The third is a RIDICULOUS fancy outfit that I created and am regretting immensely. It just took so LONG. GOD. It was created almost entirely out of drag-and-drop items, so many that the game itself started GLITCHING. (There are a few grey patches if you look really closely that I tried to cover up, to no avail.) Elanil, the girl pictured next to her, is wearing a semi-matching outfit; the jewel strings on both outfits are colored using each other's accent colors. (White for Amara, gold for Elanil.)
