This is my entry for Round 4 of the Designer Challenge hosted by at ! The theme was Flowers, but not just the average "make your character a dress based on this flower." Oh no, we had to make our characters...... Flower Fairies! I got the Daffodil: orig02.deviantart.net/5f6e/f/2… It fits well with my model Tesni's color scheme (gold and white), and is a lovely flower to boot! Now, on to the design!

This outfit is made as if Tesni had made the skirt of her dress out of the flower itself by using the floating hemline skirt option and building from there, including texturing with the snowflake draggies and creating petals out of different pieces. She wears sort of a bandoleer made of leaves across her torso, clinched at the waist by a belt. The top of her dress is a cut and shaped flower petal with gems sewn across it; it also features a net cover over her extreme upper chest that ends in jewels sewn to the edges of the neckline and sleeve areas. Her shoes are simple sandals that extend up her calves, shaped like vines and branches with gold flowers on them. She has similar decorations on her lower arms. Her wings are gold, made from the same pieces as her flower petal skirt and decorated in sparkles. Her hair is left long, curly and loose, and is decorated in loose white flowers. Across the top of her head, she wears a flower crown meant to look somewhat similar to the daffodil she was based on. She lives in a rare meadow among the snow-topped mountains of the southern Fair Lands; it blooms every spring and summer with glorious flowers of ever kind and shade, even the coveted Fay's Ambrosia plant.

This took probably an hour or more to do, but it's worth it, don't you think? I love her outfit to bits, especially those wings! And the meadow was a last-minute addition that I also really like. I think this outfit looks good on her, don't you?

Tesni is also kind of part of the Fancypants Kingdom because why not. (She's one of the Fair Folk, relatives of the Elves. She probably actually DOES live in one of the mountain meadow valleys along the southern border. )
