Her work isn't cheap, but it's really high quality and she does some fantastic work. I wanted this artwork of Raid to be perfect and more serious than the last piece I had commissioned. I think it came out wonderfully.
This picture is showing him using more powerful fire magic as is evident by the visible fire sigil on the ground and fiery ring around him. The sword is his magical focus tool that he wields his magic through, hence the fire seeming to swirl around it. He isn't going to attack at the moment but by his confidence stance you can tell he is readying his magic and preparing to unleash it if the situation turns violent.

haha, that's like me in Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. My character is a warrior/Archer, Mage, Lockpicker, Heavy Armor, Enchanter, Black Smith, etc. Pretty Much Jack of All Trades. Now, I just 3 Hit Dragons. Well, at least the regular ones. It's the Ancient Dragons I have trouble with. My Heavy Armor Skill was reset to get the perks I needed for Daedric Armor. But my One Handed skill tree is crazy powerful. Now I pretty much never die. My only weakness is of course magic. It's the mages, necromancers, and other magic users that I have trouble with. Yayy!!! I'm the Dragon Born, Fus...Roh Dah!!!

Eh, I always ended up being the one sneaking around with powerful summoning magic that distracted things and then backstabbing them when they weren't looking. Or I got so high as an Alchemist that I could drink enough camouflage potions to make myself 100% invisible until they wore off and score backstab after backstab without an issue. Of course that was in Oblivion which had so many things that were broken as hell like the infinite duration summoned armor with 0 weight that you could gain due to some sort of repairing bug.

I do Crazy Damage w/ my Daedric Swords. and they're enchanted, low lvl enchants though.

Yep, that's about the gist of what it would probably look like for him to call up pure fire magic. Now if he did several magics at once it might be a different type of circle but I always saw fire as his primary magic.

I don't know if you realize, but this drawing rises our expectation's level a lot. From the previous one (from chu) I expected something light, epic and innocent. From the 'doll makers' I... didn't expected a lot, actually. But from this, I am expecting something way more serious, with hard struggles, tearing dilemmas and many epic magic action scenes (like the one with zombies), preferably spectacular and awe inspiring. (Like a book version of a blockbuster. Uh... maybe not that much, but that's the idea)

Yeah with Chu I was trying to get the image of Raid more finalized so people could see what the character looked like but I always felt she made him a little goofier than I had wanted. Granted the commission from her wasn't too expensive so I didn't feel too inclined to complain for the low price she had asked for it. That's why I did some color alterations to it to try and make it a bit more serious. The commission Eldrige did for me has the more serious tone I wanted from the start for at least some of the story. Also this gets capture Raid perfectly. From his attire to his hair and of course his horn and other features are properly corrected from Chu's version.
My Aurikelle journals are still going to have their goofy lighthearted toppers because they are just journal entries and Aurik is a big cat so he's allowed to be cute sometimes. lol.

Yep. Eldrige commissions are kind of expensive but she does quality work and you get a lot of patience and fine detail work for the price. She works with you pretty closely and in stages so you can try to get it perfect.
