5" tall, Polymer clay and acrylic. This was a commission for a customer in Australia. I've had a few people ask for Pokemon sculptures the last year, including a Zubat and a Polywrath, bu this is the first one I had time to get a good photograph of before sending it out. I've made Dragonaire necklaces before so the two little guys up front were not super difficult. Dragonite on the other hand was an interesting and sometimes frustrating challenge. Polymer clay is a great medium but it doesn't blend as well as wet clay, so you have to come up with weird workarounds sometimes. Dragonite was actually sculpted and baked in 4 separate stages to let the various parts set properly.
