Hand drawn with ink and color in photoshop. I drew the base illustration for this about 6 months ago and had it kicking around in my sketchbook forgotten. I had this concept of a mermaid who collects human doodads like Ariel, but used them for body decoration. In the Hans Christian Anderson book the merfolk punch holes in their tails and dangle shells from them, which seems pretty punk-rock to me.Related content
