My entry into this months Facebook Character Design Challenge. Theme theme is "Geisha/Samurai". Everyone else is doing cute/beautiful Geisha, so I thought it would be a fun challenge to draw an elderly woman, long past her prime. While she might not get as much work as she used to, when she preforms it's as though the years melt away and you can see the woman who stole the hearts of all Kyoto in her youth. Never had to draw wrinkles before, so that was fun to figure out.
