Description Edit2:// Forgot the instruction doodles. -facepalm-

----------------------------------------------------

Edit:// Wow. I totally take that back. This is a OMFG-RUN-FOR-THE-HILLS-IM-LAGGINGGG-gigantically large file o_o;;

I'm sorry ;_;''

-----------------------------------------------------

WARNING: Gigantically large file! D:
I seem to be saying that for most, if not all, my tutorials o-o;;

Anywho~ Reaction to my latest flash animation was awesome! ^^ Made me feel so happy :3 (thanks guys! ^^ ) I was so happy, I decided to make another paper tutorial as I promised >8D

I folded these flowers since I was in 5th grade, so it's been a while. ^^ Stuck in a long drive? Waiting in line for something? Why not fold one of these suckers and amaze the jellybeans outta your friends >:0

I don't know why but these flowers never ceased to amaze my friends of all ages o_o;; (or maybe I hang out with strange people... )

Cheers!
It seems really long but the process is built upon repeitiveness D;

i love this tutorial! at some parts, i thought i was gonna fall out of the chair and give up, but now that its finished it looks wonderful! maybe next time itll be easier when i use pre-cut paper, or just paper with flat edges instead of ripping the square off a doodle paper X_X but, this tutorial helped me out nontheless. thanks for making it! i never qouldve been able to follow those origami books XP they make it harder

It's really tough because if I have origami paper in my hands and I don't pay attention for a little, I'll end up making a crane or a star box.

Awesome tutorial. This is the first time I attempted to fold a flower...

The first few steps are the same for folding a crane, eh?

Apparently you didn't read *RainCookie 's description for this tutorial.
"I was so happy, I decided to make another paper tutorial as I promised"
Wouldn't you agree that this implies that people were asking her to make a tutorial? She didn't make this to be "original", she made it to be helpful

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AHundredWingedWishes In reply to Cool-Vin [2008-06-30 04:39:53 +0000 UTC]

I never read descriptions unless I need a further explanation on a deviation.

Cool-Vin In reply to AHundredWingedWishes [2008-06-30 04:44:06 +0000 UTC]

I'd highly reccommend reading them so you don't make a fool of yourself in future

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AHundredWingedWishes In reply to Cool-Vin [2008-06-30 04:45:58 +0000 UTC]

I have a right to my own opinion. I don't have to read descriptions.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Cool-Vin In reply to AHundredWingedWishes [2008-06-30 04:52:28 +0000 UTC]

Yes, but if you're going to complain about an artist "letting you down" without knowing anything about the picture that apparently made you feel that way, it's a pointless "opinion".
They have a right to submit whatever they want, regardless of whether you individually like it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AHundredWingedWishes In reply to Cool-Vin [2008-06-30 04:58:14 +0000 UTC]

I know that they can submit everything. I don't have to always bring praise with me when I comment. It's a tutorial about making a paper flower. I don't see a reason to read why they made it when I've seen it all over the net.

My opinion is not pointless. I have my voice and am allowed to say something if I feel such.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Cool-Vin In reply to AHundredWingedWishes [2008-06-30 05:03:05 +0000 UTC]

It's a tutorial that this person made for her fans. They would have asked for such a tutorial (obviously they did not see the paper flower tutorials that are "all over the net"), and therefore one was made.
I've seen wolf drawings all over the net, but you don't see me whining on your deviations, do you?
You have your voice, but a comment such of yours doesn't mean anything. I doubt Raincookie appreciates you calling a tutorial generic, and you complaining about it won't change anything. If you like so many of her tutorials or whatever, I'm sure you could overlook such a "generic" tutorial as this. You can't suit everyone's needs all the time

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AHundredWingedWishes In reply to Cool-Vin [2008-06-30 05:08:51 +0000 UTC]

The wolf drawing was done for a rp friend. Wolves are cliche. I even get tired of them. Complain of my gallery as you see fit. I have no problem. If you look really hard...it's the only deviation of wolves in my gallery. She's submitted multiple tutorials. Both the artist and I have made up.

I have my rights to say something, why can't you get that through your thick skull? I don't have to worship every step of one person. I can say whatever I want on a deviation, and frankly I don't need you to police DA or what I say.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Cool-Vin In reply to AHundredWingedWishes [2008-06-30 05:15:37 +0000 UTC]

"and frankly I don't need you to police DA or what I say." Oh, but doesn't that just contradict your "rights to say something" point?
If you have every right to make a comment, I have every right to reply.
And you don't seem to have been able to get any of my points "through your thick skull", because you seem to refuse to reply or take notice of them.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AHundredWingedWishes In reply to Cool-Vin [2008-06-30 05:23:35 +0000 UTC]

I don't have to. I don't have to read descriptions if I don't feel the need to.

I don't have to comment sunshine and rainbows.

I don't have to listen to you, which I'm not.

No, it doesn't contradict. Being a comment cop and those commenting on the deviation at hand are two different things. Why don't you go bother and troll some one else more deserving of it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Cool-Vin In reply to AHundredWingedWishes [2008-06-30 06:43:20 +0000 UTC]

Oh, so this is classified as "trolling" now? Really, I thought your original remark seemed more like a "troll" comment.

RainCookie In reply to AHundredWingedWishes [2008-06-30 04:21:34 +0000 UTC]

It's about art, not the views.

If you don't like it, you don't have to write about it and pass it over. This might not be unique to you, but it definately is to me. The reason why my grandma taught me how to fold this flower and when she taught me is definately unique and important, and it's just something I decided to teach others.

Sorry it doesn't please your taste; I can't amuse everyone.
But really, don't bring up the views for anything. They're meaningless compared to the comments I recieve.

It's fine. It's just hard when you made them in Technical Writing (it was for an instructions clarity assignment) I was just all sad. I was just...*distress* I have used the paper stars tutorial. Ish fun. I make them too small, though.

Maybe you should add onto this one to make it unique. Do something new. You are known for taking something normal and making it wonderful.
