Description
All of the trees that grow in the Eternal Wood are crystaline and range in colors, most of them are this tone of blue however.The Eternal Wood lies East of the Crystal Empire within the Crystal Mountains.
It functions as a kingdom due to its powerful magic, enchanted inhabitants, and large territory.Β
It's Sovereign is Princess Rainseed rainseed.deviantart.com/galler⦠and its Key Stone is the Wishing Lake, together they protect the Wood and guard the portals to the Fey Kingdom.
The portals are within the Lake's surface and within the Tree of Light, the Lake was created as a portal from the Fey Kingdom to Equestria and leaks magical power from that dimension into Equestria's.
That steady stream of magic caused the Eternal Wood to be created and up-keeps its power.
The Eternal Wood is the only place that grows Crystal Trees as they are a manifestation of the leaked magic in a form native to the land.
I have completed the mythos of my original characters and their worlds and will be updating later with their connection to Equestria and one another.

I love this concept! I needed some kind of fantastic fantasy location in my comic that would be extremely fun to make and adventure through. This caught my eye.

Thank you so much, I was going over thematic elements concerning the ocs I currently have as my main cannon and realized that they could easily be correlated to existing fairy-tales, from there I ended up examining the origin of my currently established kingdoms and factions and found that they interconnect to one kingdom.Β So now I get to write the mythos for all of that and make more ocs <333
