I daresay that Aurora is probably everything we wished out of Star, but never got. Seriously though, this is how the series should have ended! Somebody hire that man!

You’re right, so I have seen, but it would’ve been nice if he also left a comment as well, oh well.

Speaking of which, I’m not sure if you saw this before (www.deviantart.com/jgss0109/ar… ), but it would seem that Star now understands that “destroying magic” was a huge mistake and has paid the price for her mistakes; I’m not exactly sure if this is true, but it’s just speculating what exactly is going on. Am I the only one who doesn’t feel any sympathy for Star here? I mean, to tell you the truth, while it seems that Star does indeed regret her actions very greatly, I have to say that she brought this on herself.

This is why I agree with you when you say Aurora is everything we wished out of Star, but never got. Disney seriously needs to resolve the issue where some protagonists of certain shows or movies (Such as Vanellope, Ariel, Mulan, Mabel Pines, etc.) act like they are always right and are heroes, but are actually just looking out for their own selfish interests. Star has been very self-centered since the beginning, and she’s still is to the end; I mean, what the hell? Does Disney seriously want to teach little kids how to be very selfish and complete jerks who don’t think about anybody but themselves?!

I’m sorry man, but I seriously can’t let go of the fact that Star’s story arc was pointless and that the writers decided to throw away Star’s character development in favor of rushing the ending. has proven to be a better writer than the whole Disney Staff combined, not only should they have hired this man, but they seriously need to take notes from his work as well. So far, Aurora’s character development seems to heading into a great direction and she’s proven to be a much better and more relatable protagonist than Star ever was. Here’s to hoping jgss0109 will not disappoint us all in the end. 👍🏻

Does that picture take place after the canon end? Because I would have thought her cheek marks would have been gone without the magic.

In any case, its still a bummer the series had to end on such a note. At least we still have this AU as a consolation. lol 
At this point, I'm certain the man cant disappoint!

I wouldn’t be surprised if this takes place after the canon ending where it’s revealed that magic was not “destroyed” and has in fact returned after a long while. After all, matter cannot be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to anoher. I believe that the same principle applies to magic since it is part of the universe; therefore, I have a feeling that at some point, magic will somehow reappear out of nowhere and then things will certainly be much worse than before. Maybe that’s why Star has her cheek marks back. Star is an idiot if she thinks magic could just be completely erased from the universe real easily, well whether you like it or not, everything that exists in our universe (whether living or non-living) can't ever be erased entirely, no matter how hard you try.

Also, it is said that Star has been crowned Queen as punishment in order to make up for her mistakes, this is why I don’t feel any sympathy for her because like I said: she brought this on herself. But if you ask me, Star should feel lucky that this is the only punishment she got for her mistakes because for all I know, fate could’ve had something much worse in store than being crowned Queen as punishment. I mean, think about it, Star could’ve sentenced to death or imprisoned for life. This is why Star should feel lucky.
