Description
I've been on a kick creating Microhero versions of my Predator characters, and this one was relatively easy to make as far as this one being the third is concerned. When making Predator armor, I've learned that I don't have to create the armor from scratch all the time, but rather I created a template of armor from my Microhero Kot'yai, and I applied it to Set'gin Thei-de here.Set'gin's armor is almost virtually the same as Kot'yai's when considering the chest plats and the shoulder pads as I designed it to be modeled after the Classic Predator's armor. Also, it helped a lot when I was referring to my drawing of Set'gin that I did sometime ago, but I was challenged to do a new mask style. So I had to do some heavy modifications here.
The mask is a combination of Classic, Gort, Celtic, and Chopper. I was mostly trying to go for Celtic Predator's style of mask but this seems to work on it's own very well. Also, if noticed, the targeting laser is blue, not the usual red.
Predator Base Provided by *jakesreptiles . So many thanks for him in providing a template for me to work with! Be sure to check out his stuff!
Update: Looking back at Set'gin Thei-de's micro-hero interpretation, I felt as if he were a bit too yellow. So I darkened the skin quite a bit and now he has the proper yellow-green hue which I definitely wanted him to have. It works and more detail can be seen in the tones.

Tang Soo Do is the descendent art of Taekkyon, but the ancestor art of Taekwondo. It does incorporate elements of Shotokan Karate in it though, considering at the time Tang Soo Do was modified from Taekkyon with techniques from Kung-Fu and Shotokan.
I'm not making anymore Style vs Style videos because I don't train at my dojang anymore, and the fact that my friends who knew other styles moved out of state.

Ooh! He's yellow! It's definitely interesting how Kot'ya and Rakai'Thwei are designed with green tones for their flesh but Set'gin is yellow. Is there actually any particular reason for that? I think it's quite unique. The armour you can definitely tell has been recycled but it's not done in a way that feels cheap. It feels natural since they're all part of the same family/clan so it makes sense but there's also differences as well. I notice that Set'gin has markings on his chest plate. His legs are also bare and his lower armour is more reminiscent of Rakai'Thwei's. I must also say that I like that you've chosen blue as an accent colour in his design. It's an interesting colour to pair with his skintone. Overall, this was another great job done and I look forward to seeing more (as usual).

Well I would think that diversity is something of a must for individual Yautja as a species, however considering that Kot'yai and Set'gin are half-brothers, there are differences between them. In the case of Set'gin's skin, I would go as far as to say that is something he had inherited from his mother, more than his father.
As for the armor, you have something of a point there. Each Predator clan has different armor from each other but there are certain cases where many members of some clans wear the same armor. Primary cases would be the Dark Blade clan, from the first AvP movie. Celtic, Scar and Chopper wore the same armor. And to a lesser extent, some members of the Lost clan in Predator 2 wore similar armor to Ghost. In Set'gin's case, to give him an individual look was by giving him the marking on his armor, and the blue harnesses and straps, as well as the hip armoring and the briefs underneath. The mask I felt was a challenge because in the original drawing it was definitely something reminiscent of the Classic Predator mask, but here I decided to give him a combination of Chopper and Gort's mask.
Thanks a bunch!

Is Set'gin Akasha and Rakai'Thwei's son? I know Umiko is Akasha's daughter with Rakai'Thwei but I forget who their son was.

Actually, it's Kot'yai who is Akasha and Rakai'Thwei's son.
