Description
Awwww, it was about time I jumped on the band-wagon.I'm breaching out and using my chibis for other characters now too.
I figured if you ever caught a glimpse of Box 5 during a really nice performance, you'd get an eye-full of satisfied phantom.
Again, oh so proud of the computer colouring technique! I'm brushing up on it!
Phantom of the Opera (c) Gaston Leroux, Andrew Lloyd Weber

Hah! I kind of like this little, well-done version of the Phantom. Nice details and coloring, too.

Excellent work with this drawing, Rakshar! As many others have commented, I love how casual Eric the Phantom looks as he waits in the infamous Box 5. Poses are hard enough as it is, and with chibi's I imagine it's extra hard to emote the proper feeling you wish to convey. Here, you've done so very well. If it weren't for the mask and cape, Chibi-Phantom could easily be just another, somewhat shy, wealthy opera patron.
Also great work with the shadows AND lighting. I especially like how you made the backlights benind the box's curtain glow through the material. That's great attention to detail on your part, so bravo!

Thanx for the input! yah, the little guy is hard to pose what with his "cute" proportions and all... but it's all the cuter when you do pull it off. wow, how many times have i said cute?
I also was taking the time to work with multiple light sources, so thanx for noticing! :bows:

He looks so casual there... "I'm the PHANTOM of the Opera! I am the ANGEL of MUSIC.. I am waiting for the god dman show to start! Ooh! Popcorn!"
I love how it looks like a casual photoshot for some kind of CD insert or book jacket. He's so Suave!

yah, you figure that the poor little guy is so happy to go out now and then, what wiht the social isolation and all... then again, it's not that he's going out as much as he's going upstairs, but.... atleast he gets to play with the boat.

You always have an excellent use of light and shadow! I love the soft lighting coming from the stage and the golden colored glow coming around the edges of the curtain, it's very soft and candlelight-ish. Your characters are so adorable!

Christina would have to be chipmunk sounding too to match... I can just hear them singing Point of No Return together! *dies laughing*
