Description

At a mass of 4 to 7 Tonnes and reaching almost 6m in height, these massive three legged creatures are by far the biggest mobile organisms on the continent.
Despite Eurytos’ crushing gravity compared to that of Earth, they still managed to reach gargantuan sizes.
And they also evolved unique adaptations.

Similar to Elephants or Rhinos, with their horns and tusks, they use their large serrated plates on their upper jaw as a tool. These massive shields are used to scrape at bark, dig out roots and even to topple trees, amongst many other things…
Some of our scientists discovered that these multitools are actually reinforced with copper, giving them their slight bluish tint.

Being large has many benefits, but also many drawbacks. Especially if you’re on a high gravity world. Because movement is very expensive at such large sizes, they prefer to only move their comparatively light neck, instead of their whole body.
These giant, gentle herbivores sit in one place and use their long necks to reach for as much vegetation as they can.
And then, similar to grazing baboons on earth, they simply get up, walk a few meters, and then sit down again. If they wanted to, they could probably decimate a forest. But luckily, they only seem interested in the tastiest parts.
