Description
I was a bit displeased with the alien designs in the latest A to Z chapter, as save for the Irrib they looked kind of boring, so I drew a bunch that hopefully looks more interesting. The designs are not final by any means and it's quite possible they will be changed and rearranged for their actual appearances. Also, notes on what each of them was based of.

Nope, I won't replace anything for now, maybe if I decide to redraw the scribbles somewhere in the future. Those are simply ideas to be used in future chapters, when I'm running low on good ideas.

Aside from the notes on the paper, not really. A to Z is a mess that is conceptualized while being written, so any additional information will come depending on need.

Nice! I generally have no problem with coming up with names, in case of doubt I just hit a few random letters and see how those can be edited into something workable ('Idrath' is one such example). I'll see if I can include some of your suggestions, but I can't promise anything, as these aren't final designs by any means.Β Some willΒ be changed and rearranged laterΒ and some of those names could end up for individuals rather than species, or for completely different designs altogether.

If you're referring to the Rex Harrison version, yes, it's called the Pushme-pullyou.Β (I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling, though.)Β In the Eddie Murphy version, there were no "exotic" species that Dr. Doolittle could talk to.Β I don't know about the newest incarnation, though.

That would have to be it, as I have better memory of the Eddie Murphy and newest versions. As said, I watched it a long time ago in German, where it's called "Ziehmich-Streckdich" and faintly remember seeing it outside the Doolittle context even before that.
