Description
The collection continues, now with the sapient species (and one exception) from episodes 5 to 13.
Aka: A quick-footed, tentacled hexapede. They are uncommon outside their home planet, as they tend to be too energetic to spend longer times on spaceships. Seen in episode 12 as an erotic dancer.
Bokuta: An uncommon species with an odd appearance due to the long eyestalk. Originally from an environment defined by a thick plant cover where the stalk allowed them to see above it, they are usually seen in occupations where their sharp eyesight and nimble, precise nasal tentacles can be put to use. Seen in episode 10 as a nurse.
Cimukarti: A wetland species that is highly social and needs close relationships to thrive. This trait makes them rare outside their home planet, with off-planet individuals usually either having moved off as a group or bonding to other highly-social species. Due to similar environment preferences, they are often keeping company with Tolemos. Seen in episode 10 as a part of a multi-species family.
Derenn: A bulky, foul-tempered species that likes having distance to others, but can be incredibly loyal once they come to like somebody. Due to their rather solitary nature, they are widespread across the known galaxy, but at a low density. It is generally not an issue for them, as Derenn are hermaphroditic and can fertilize themselves if they feel the need to procreate. Featured in episode 12 as a guard for a group of thieves, but also seen in episode 2 and 6 as random extras.
Eshkenian: A large species with six limbs, only two of which are being used for walking. They possess mobile horns that are usually held against the neck, but erected when assuming a threatening posture, and a lot of their emotional communication is by emitting smells. Males differ from females by having their heads covered in tubercles. They are forest-dwellers, and most of the cities built on their home planet Eshke will be either in forests, have trees growing on their roofs or be shaded artificially, if the environment doesnβt allow for trees. The biochemical profiles of the life on Eshke and Serkanis are pretty close, which led to a sizeable off-planet population of Serkanians living there. Featured in episode 7 (a foul-mouthed archivar) and episode 8 (the native population).
