FULL VIEW FOR TUTORIAL
Finally, after countless requests, I made a full tutorial just on how I do eyes. It really is simple, after a few tries I think you should be able to do it (as long as you know how to insert layers, etc. in photoshop). If you have problems or questions with it, feel free to ask me

Question: during step two, what's the reason for making a new layer and "linearting" the eye? Is linearting different from sketching? Does it look better? Sorry, but I have no experience with layering, so I didn't really get it...
Anyway, this is quite useful for making a pretty eye. Although, it'd be kind of useful to have different kinds of eyes, too, like evil, cute, sad, sleepy, things like that.

so for step 11 you only add a new layer if you're going to use a lighter color or do you duplicate the layer and color dodge???

Well, I must say, I love the anime style, and this tutorial has helped me start drawing some stuff myself. I don't do it on the computer yet, but I found that almost the same stuff can be done offline. Sooo... thankyou!

Man I tried this with green eyes on a fox thing I am working on and it turned out awsone!
I am amazed, most other tutorials I have tried for eyes have iether bene crap ot too complicated for me
to do.
You have a simple easy method with great results.
