DOWNLOAD!My very first simple 3-frame animation and I know it is not the best, so please be easy on me. I made it to prove my abilities to myself, for my own sheer amusement and as a test for future animations.
If you know the history of the original Caramel Dance song, created by the Swedish band Caramell and that Popotan rabbit ear dance then you'll fully understand the pun here.
This animation will later evolve into a feature with all three of the Charming (Stockholm Fire) girls. These are not as simple as they appear, and trying to animate Fossilkat is proving to be a difficult challenge. Darn Fossilkat.
Please NO NOT upload this movie to video sites (like Youtube, Veoh etc) or any sites without my permission. DO NOT alter this video or place this clip in another movie.

Sure thing! I used the animation feature in Photoshop CS2. I drew three frames; two of them moving to the side and one facing the front and used the animation bar to put however many sequences I needed.
I have no idea if the new versions of photoshop still have the animation feature or if it has been improved since my version but I hope I was clear enough.

When you upload it in GIF format, you just choose Digital Art > Miscellaneous > Animation and it will allow you to select a GIF file to upload. You will also need a preview image in either a PNG or JPEG format at 150X150 when you upload the GIF but that's fairly easy to do. That preview image can be anything you like, it doesn't need to be a frame from the animation.
If I can remember correctly, if you make the animation in Photoshop with the animation function you can easily save the file as a GIF that will be animated. Not sure how other programs go about it, but I suspect it might be pretty much the same.

If done in Photoshop I would double up your frames for a smoother animation.

I fixed it a tab, by highering the frame rate, so now it isn't jerking. I'll take your advice and double the frames with the same speed in mind.
