Image is designed like a snapshot, most likely taken by Erika. I based the composition in the manag style used by Rin Horuma. He always places the robots in the bottom pane, always cut off and trying to reach or wave to the camera.This patricular snapshot shows the first generation of heroes, which were Henry, Kirara and thier Medabots Arcbeetle and Aluminum.

Very nicely done. I wish Kirara had appeared in the cartoon, she would have been a nice addition. But this is a cool pic, I love the color and the natural look of the characters.

I randomly bought the 3rd manga and found her.
Im so glad someone drew Kirara~ I thought she was cool~! The only fanart i had ever seen of her was japanese fanart and I had NO clue who she was~!

I guess you consider them canon. They do go off in the woods and secretly train together, and Ikki finds out about it and makes fun of them. So it's like a date xD

Sorry for the late reply. I haven't watched the series as of late so I had to try and remember the exact episode number it was in. It's in episode 80 called Rough on a Hot Tin Cat.
But I can only find the episode in latino on Youtube as of right now. They use to have the English dub and original Japanese one available to watch D:

Nice placement of everything in the BG. The bench seat is a bit wonky and slightly out of perspective, though. It does match the slight downshot of Henry and Kirara's laps, but everything else is conflicting with that seat angle- including the rest of their bodies. Henry's neck needs to attach more in between his shoulders; it wouldn't be directly under his head since he's craning himself off to one side.
The bench itself sorta fades a bit too quickly into being just part of the background despite its closeness. :\ Maybe at the least try and tie it in with the figures by placing a bit of shadow (or more accurately, "occlusion") under their tushes on the seat. :3

So true! Even like the art style leaves something to be desired in comparison. (Granted, it gets a bit better as the story goes along, but..) XD I love how in the anime its simplistic yet still adorable and pretty at the same time.

Urgh, I want a subbed version too. Well seeing how a few dubbed anime are now being brought to DVD with subbed editions of shows, maybe...nah....
The only way we'd get a subbed uncut version of the show would be if Nelvana's rights expired and another company bought the rights to produce us one. Seeing how Nelvana dubbed Cardcaptors and it's now available in a subbed edition DVD, who knows right?
Ah, but we can only dream.
