10 000 kiriban request for ~nedunque One of the recipents of my 10k hit and apparently a fan or Max/Miriam (Miriam? Mariam? How is it exactly spelled?)The biggest problem was deciding which of thier outfits to mix and enhance. Miriam proved to be the headache, due to the fact she only has one costume in the whole series. The difference I made to her costume, were adding tails to her headband, extra sleeves, arm band, and the belt receeding under her arm. Max's is just his V-Force outfit given a bit of a punk look with the largeness of the collar, added blet to one shoulder and gloves. I also gave him a necklace similar to Ozuma's but red, suggesting it could be a gift from Miriam.

this is a great pic, one of the best i've seen of Max and Mariam but i must say that with the lines drawn on her arms, Mariam looks like she has some muscle to keep her little Maxie in line.
the altercations to the outfits look great, makes max look a little more mature.
the styling and overall look are great and i can't help but feel that i've seen something like this before

You betcha I'm an M&M fan (and it's 'officially' Mariam, but Ozma does say Miriam the first time he uses her name in the dub).
I really like your modifications to their outfits. The long headband looks great (and there's just a hint of boob as in the original). Max' gloves could almost be a gift from Kai.
Your hands are getting better. I think they're the right size. And the spread out fingers are good for the surprised look on Max.
I may well be a pervert, but I can't help but think that Mariam smeared the icecream like that deliberately, so that she can lick it off.
It's really a wonderful picture with lots of emotion and story in it. Not just a random pose. And your colouring is very vibrant and full of life. Thank you once again. I really appreciate this and feel that I don't actually deserve it since I've been lagging on comments lately.

I indeed intended Mariam to purposely smear her ice cream all over Max's face. Her characterization just seems fitting to do such a feat. She's one sly chick.

I had no doubt that it was intentional. The question was what her intention was. "Sly chick" - I like that. Very fitting. You're very good at getting characterisation into your art.

Mariam's (Miriam? Miairiam? Mirium? I don't know anymore D: ) hair is love *___* So pretty~! You've drawn it all flowing and gorgeous <3! And I love the colouring as usual and all the costume alterations! The expressions are perfect (LOL, Max, you're so messy XD) and the BG is wonderful!

Iiiiii prefer Miriam (since the origin of the name means something like "of the sea").
XD And having her own Max with ice cream is wholly deserved (I still remember his eerily happy moaning while having ice cream with Alan in one episode). She'll give him something to moan about.
I think the background could have been just a liiiiittle bit more muted in relation to the two of them (either that or have them be more saturated); just something to show depth.

And I like the way you think. Sounds like we're pretty much in agreement about the characterisation for this couple too. One of the few cases where I feel the solidus is appropriate: Mariam/Max.
