Just in case the original video is removed, I'll provide a brief summary of what happened.
A Fundelmentalist Christian is holding a sign that reads something along the lines of "Warning: Masturbaters, Thieves, Liars, Fornicators, Homosexuals, Drunkards. Judgement Day" and this Screeching kid goes full ape shit upon reading the sign. Then "Mark" decks this asshat and the kid wimpers off about how his feelings were hurt.
What I find interesting about the guys sign is self pleasure, being gay and having beer is a major no no. Yet mass murder, shagging kids and selling drugs is A-OK with him.
Do forgive me on this but I don't subscribe to the whole "JUDGEMENT DAY FOR ALL, OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoooooooh!!! BURN IN HELL etc etc etc!!" mainly because it ultimately sounds childish and has become the one and only answer fanatical dipsticks fall back on.

People often feel my jokes about Christians means I'm an athiest or have a huge hatrid for religion. No I find Athiests also have egos the size of jupitar. What I take issue with are people who force their own viewpoint onto others in a bid to make everyone miserable. Whether it's politicians, femenists or whoever. I call out bullshit as I see it. Not to mention I believe Jesus taught us to "love each other" and not "I had a secret chat with a few select people to spread the word about everyone I apparently said I hate!!!"
Also, can we please stop going on about "The Rapture/Judgement Day" already? People have said the world is going to end more times that Valve has said Episode III's coming out. Considering it does make something less credible when these people have used their faith to predict this... and nothing happened.... MULTIPLE TIMES INFACT.
I have more respect for someone who can listen to an argument, may not agree with it but is open minded enough to listen. I do feel people holding these kinds of signs up is something that should really not be happening anymore. These people sound less like rational human beings and more like the Daily Mail. Going on and on about how Gays, Blacks and Muslims are evil. When ironically, these "Children of God" are looking more like heartless monsters than the ones they're fighting against.
Speaking of monsters... Well, mainly the kind that scream like Velociraptors.
I do not condone the actions this kid took. Being offended is one thing, but you don't lash out and hit people! Not that I want to side with the guy with a "DO AS I SAY OR YOU'LL BURN!!!" attitude, but you know you done fucked up when you come out of this looking like the monster! I hear people jokingly call him "Tumblr Incarnate" but in the end I find this to be one of those "Who do you root for?" kinda arguments.

I will accept alot of critisisms about movies. Bad script? Terrible acting? Awful CGI? Yep those are complaints that reflect the movie in general. However saying "OH WELL YOU KNOW. Pokemon OMEGA RUBY and ALPHA SAPPHIRE announced.
I'll be honest upfront. Ruby was the game that got me back into Pokemon when I was in college! So this remake on the 3DS doesn't come as a major surprise due to the past 2 generations also recieving remakes on handhelds past. I don't begrudge the announcement in the same regard I don't have contempt for Capcom releasing updates to the latest instalment of the Street Fighter franchise.
The longer answer: It's become there MO (modus operandi) at this point and I feel it would be incredibly shocking if they didn't do it! It's the little quirks they have that make them what they are. Now I know the obvious question popping up is "But Random you'll burn COD at the steak for pulling this shit but not SF or Pokemon?"
Well, the big difference between Street Fighter updates or Pokemon remakes and Call of Duty as a whole. Is at least they don't pretend it's a "new" instalment. With Pokemon Remakes retooling every graphical detail or reworking the basic mechanics, while Street Fighter retools and balances its roster is leaps and bounds more credible than COD's mediocre efforts of slapping a cut & paste "story" onto the same multiplayer you've been playing for the last 5 years!

Now I know my grumblings about Pokemon (lol pokeymoney) in the past had a large amount of subjectivity to them, but even I have to raise my hand and say "Yes Pokemon X was GOOD!!" but I think if this relationship between myself and Nintendo is going to be a "long and happy one" then it's time I asked for something in return.
I'll gladly play Omega Ruby Nintendo... on one condition.
You try to do something absolutely DIFFERENT with this stale franchise. I don't care what it is just something that's slightly evolved past 2 games that have had the same plot for the last god knows how many years.

POKKEN Rumours

Rumours are popping up regarding a possible Tekken/Pokemon based title. Now when I say "based title" I don't mean Heihachi Mishima beating the shit out of Pikachu, but rather a Pokemon Fighting Game based on the Tekken Engine. That's the main conclusion everyone has and I have to say this is a surprising move. First Hyrule Warriors, then seeing Zelda Zone DLC for Sonic Lost World and now Pokken being a possibility? It's interesting to see Nintendo allow other peoples takes or own styles on their beloved franchises. Yet why stop with Hyrule Warriors or Pokken? Why not go even further with this mix & match?

Well, we have our first look at the "Worst" Batman ever at last. Honestly, this looks pretty good so far. It reminds of both Year One and Dark Knight Returns. While it is a black and white photo, it does show he can at least look the part. All he has to do now is show he can act the part and I'm good.
So yeah, not a bad start Affleck! You might just be the only good thing about this.

I think this announcement should make the message clear. The majority do NOT want motion controls! It's exactly as I called it all those years ago, this is another gimmick and a fad that will not last. So here we are with the announcement from Microsoft, that in June a Kinnectless Xbox One will be released. I wanna give credit where it's due, I appauld Microsoft for making this change very early in the game. It shows they listened to consumer complaints and fixed the problem. Motion controls were cute when the Wii came out but the novalty wore off very quickly and I switched back to the Xbox 360 for gaming content.
I call Motion Controls a fad because that's exactly what it is. A FAD! The evidence shows that and forcing this useless device on gamers bit Microsoft in the ass! Don Mattrick didn't get this and I was glad he left when he did. By getting rid of it, it's really turned things around for Microsoft. Now they've put this worthless piece of shit behind them and can now focus on what you SHOULD buy a games console for. Decent gaming content. Not motion controls, online streaming or TV shows.
But games.
I will say this announcement still isn't enough to make me want an Xbox One. The game libary has zero titles I want, but a Blood Dragon 2 could change that of course
I'll probably go for the Wii U unless Nintendo bin that this year for a more advanced console.... like I dunno "The Hyper Nintendo Entertainment System" or HNES for short.
But yeah, let's hope Motion Controls are finally dead... and they take mobile gaming with them.

I don't think I've ever thought of the character that way apart from an ass kicking female, like the 90's incarnation of Rogue. Now the true motivation behind the creation of characters like She-Hulk or say Spider-Woman, was because Marvel could secure the rights to the name. Cus I don't seem to recall Jessica Drew being Peter Parker's girlfriend or sleeping with him. Okay, this is the kind of shit that gives me no faith or confidence in DC Comics and their movies.
Sure I gave Iron Man 3 or Amazing Spider-Man 2 shit in the past, but at least I can honestly say that they sort of cared about the source matrial. At least the characters were called by their names. They didn't rename Electro to "Carl Roberts" or call Green Goblin "Jack Thompson" No they trusted the source matrial (well kind of) but here I kind of get the feeling DC Comics resent the fact they're making super hero movies.
The fact Chris Nolan hates the name Batman, not giving Wonder Woman her own movie and went out of their way to NOT call the character Superman in Man of Steel shows a lack of respect for the legacies these characters have. I can understand not giving say Green Arrow or MARTIAN Manhunter movies, in the same regard I get how Nick Fury, Loki or Hawkeye didn't get movies. Yet Wonder Woman?? Really assholes, you just drop her Amazon ass into a Superman sequel that also features Batman.

i'll give my 2 cents on May's recent "events":
-Pokemon Omega ruby and Alpha sapphire- While I'm no longer into pokemon I think it's great for the people who are into it. I mean it's a good upgrade and it will have online functionality. If it brings joy then more power to them. Also at least it's adding something new unlike the recent COD games and street Fighter(or anything Capcom related) re-releases.
-the rumored Pokemon fighting game using the Tekken engine- Ok if it's true then yeah it would be kind of interesting. I wouldn't mind it if they made more of these experimental crossovers. I'm still interested in the upcoming Shin Megami tensei x Fire emblem game.
-the passing of H.R. Giger- I have to say that when I heard the news it impacted me pretty heavily. I remember growing up with the Alien movies(specifically the 1st one) and I still remember fondly the Xenomorph. I still consider Alien even to this day the best sci-fi horror film. Even on it's simplicity and subtlety the film worked. And it helped inspire games, movies and tv shows. I'm still amazed that in TCW show they managed to cram in a reference to the Alien movies.
-Batfleck revealed- I really like it. I know everyone said this before but I love the design of the Batsuit. It really feels like the suit from The Dark knight Returns, the batsuit of Year one and the Batsuit of the Golden age. It really looks intimidating. Now the only thing they need to show is his Bat voice and I'm sold.
-the death of kinect- I'd say good riddance. Wow was that add on worthless. On paper it seemed like a good idea(when it was called project Natal) but at the end it was just another gimicky motion control crap. I'm not against motion control games as long as they are done well but Kinect is a perfect example on how not to do motion control games....or gimmicks for that matter.
-WWE losing millions- after the recent stunt they pulled I guess it's the pure definition of "Karmic retribution".
-The David Goyer controversy- What Goyer said about She-Hulk felt very stupid and childish.
But what he said about DC is worse. They way he said it(the thing about Martian man-hunter) it almost feels that he really doesn't care about the source material.
Now while I liked the Dark knight trilogy and man of steel I honestly hope he's not involved in any future DC movies. Because if he doesn't show interest of at least respect for the source material then I rather have the movies not being made. And I find it funny that Goyer thinks that Martian Manhunter is a stupid name yet Marvel is already embracing Rocket Raccoon(I still have 0 interest in GotG).
I think that the problem is not DC comics but people like Goyer. DC needs to hire people who at least care or has interest in the source material. When people like Richard Donner, Chris Nolan, Tim Burton and Joel Shumacher(I like Batman Forever.) came on board at least they showed passion for what they were doing.
Now on the title of Man of steel II. I got to admit the title sounds kind of weird. I could get with the Dawn of Justice name but the Batman v Superman part kind of rubs me the wrong way. Why couldn't just call it World's Finest? They did it in the comic books and the animated series.
I really hope the film is good and not a Catwoman level catastrophe. But if it does then it might teach DC a lesson.
-Edgar wright stepping down from Antman- Well since I never read an Ant Man comic book nor am I a huge fantard of Edgar Wright(I like a couple of his films) I don't care about that much. Even though I find it interesting that it Edgar Wright had issues with Marvel(from what I've heard). Then again since I'm kind of burned out of Superhero Marvel films(specifically the ones from the MCU) films my reaction is "Meh".

And this is why I gave up on DC. After seeing their "New 52" comic where the Joker's face was taken off, I just gave up on their comics. And seeing what there doing in their comics & movies (inside & out) it doesn't make me want to read or watch their stuff, but drive me away. Funny enough, the Arrow series hasn't done this to me and I feel this is the only thing they've done right.

I honestly cringe when people use "freedumb of speech" as this ultimate get-out-of-jail-free card to say scummy garbage and get away with it. You might as well imply they're "trolling" when you use that excuse. Can we please just scrap the Man of Steel multiverse in favor of The Arrow multiverse maybe? Personally, I'm much more excited for the new Flash TV series coming out at the end of the year than am I for "World's Finest" ... I wish that was the title. It's just so fitting.
I know the Guardians of the Galaxy won't show up in Age of Ultron, but with they inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are far more characters in these movies than DC can hope to compete against. Not to mention there's Ant-Man who might be followed up by Doctor Strange and Black Panther. Hell the X-Men film universe has been greatly expanded upon with Days of Future Past and I'm really looking forward to Apocalypse more than anything else. But DC still doesn't trust anybody to make any more adaptations after Green Lantern.
Oh and fuck Goyer, I love Martian Manhunter, I think he's far too underrated.

I hate how what was first supposed to be a Superman and Batman team-up is just turning into a Justice League prequel. Now, I don't think every character needs to be introduced in their own solo movie for the Justice League film to work, as the X-Men films have mostly been successful without having to first introduce everyone in their own movie, but it's annoying how they turned what was supposed to be a Superman sequel into a Justice League prequel. Honestly, I would have preferred Superman get one more solo film, and then a Superman and Batman movie with maybe a few throwaway cameos from other heroes here and there, and THEN a Justice League movie. I personally liked Man of Steel, and I'm still hoping for the best for DC's cinematic universe, but almost every news reveal is slowly making me lose hope in the film.

May has been a depressing month, outside the media. One of my friends has overworked himself with a strict schedule he has planned, and it didn't go well (he found out about his cousin's graduation, which threw off his schedule a little). He passed out from staying awake 4 days in a row, ending up in a hospital. Another friend of mine recently got out of his school year and wanted a place to rent. However, things are just grim for him at the moment for he hasn't heard back from the apartments he was looking at, with little amount of time he had before his brother kicked him out to the streets at the beginning of June. I couldn't think of other examples, other than finals and graduation rolling, but May wasn't exactly merciful (before the summer heat kicks in).
Other than that, the only good news to come out of May so far is the Hoenn remakes, which I'll be looking forward to this November. It's sad to see Super Hero movies falling apart this entire month, filled with morons and so-called social justice warriors. Let's just hope Antman would still be good with a new director in line, and Guardians of the Galaxy doesn't suck.
Next month, who's ready for the console war wanking fest known as E3? Get out your fanboy hats, because we're diving into some press conferences (or online direct, if you're a Nintendo fanboy)! Whoever wins, we either win or lose.
