No new page for Friday. July’s Month Review needs to have some work and Daisy’s sprites need a major update to manage what’s up ahead. So in the meantime, my good friend and partner in crime SmokeFrostHeart has something special which I’ll hosting on here.

Before I pass the mic over to him, allow me to give this some context. Daisy, and his character Elysia, have had a little bit of a feud/rivalry for awhile. You could say it’s become our own little Goku Vs. Superman type scenario.

Speaking of which, Screwattack, the second YT channel to get most of it’s facts wrong (the first being Game Theory) is doing GOKU VS. SUPERMAN….. THE REMATCH!!!!

Despite the whole, you know “being a be-all, end-all result” they boasted in the build up. While I’ll offer some thoughts when it comes out, here’s Smoke with his 2 cents on the issue…. Oh and go and watch his stuff here.

Okay, so it's been a long ass time since I did a comic. Furthermore, I would like to thanks James AKA RandomDC3 here for putting this comic on his panel. I didn't know where else to put it, and leaving it on webs.com doesn't exactly get it noticed >XD

So, the comic is a spoof as you possibly worked out. Basically, I got a bone to pick with ScrewAttack about the recent reveal of Goku Vs Superman rematch.

Take note, this is a bit of a biased view on both sides. I'm not a fan of Superman because I believe he's too overpowered. And I'm not a fan of Goku either, but I turned off from DBZ after the Frieza saga. It just got a little too weird for me.
Now, let's take a look at this at face value first! ScrewAttack did a video of Goku vs Superman that left no questions unanswered. At least in my mind. I don't like Superman, but I will admit he is pretty freaking strong. Goku, is about the same but not got that edge that Supe's has. The whole video was thumbed up, then down, then sideways; soooo many sore points made in the comments, mass hysteria ensued.
But this is where I don't like this; many people have screamed for a rematch for AGES... ... ... then out of nowhere (not an RKO, surprisingly!) comes the rematch. Um...why? You ignored it for so long, now all of a sudden you're pandering to people raging because of the initial outcome?
From what I understand, Goku is using the Super Saiyan God form and some kind of blue haired form. I can only assume that it's a powered up variant of the same God form. Okay, I guess they needed to update it, but what does Superman use? It's basically stacking the deck, again and again, in favour of the DBZ fans. May I ask one simple question; WHY?!

Seriously, even with these new forms, I can see the result just being the same. But ScrewAttack basically shot themselves in the foot here; if Supe's wins, everyones gonna claim that they hate DBZ. On the other hand, if Goku wins, the DC boys will claim that they're doing nothing but pandering to the anime fans.
I know the point of DeathBattle is to cause some chaos between community members, but this is basically doing themselves in a complete loss situation. Also, I remember quite a few DeathBattles that weren't so argument filled! Example, I don't believe more than... five? Possibly, six people, only complained when Sektor got his ass handed to him by Fulgore from Killer Instinct. I'm a KI fan and a MK fan. Did I complain? Nope.avi
Reason being is because the story behind each character left no stone unturned, although DB did get something wrong; BEFORE Fulgore was initially released, the man who built him was so confident in the project, he had already made a 1.5 project with better armour and weapons. As soon as Fulgore 1 got trashed by Jago, the man who made Fulgore was enraged, and within a heart beat, activated the second model, to kill Jago while he went to go and reclaim the parts from the first model.
Back on the subject at hand, the only thing that this new trailer for the rematch shows is it'll be better animated. That's it for me. It does nothing else. For fans however on both sides, there's a cheer for their heroes, but for the logical people, there's no reason for this rematch because the result will be the same.

Play your hand, ScrewAttack... let's see if this yields what you wanted.
