Its been awhile since I drew any official characters... I remember why I stopped now :'D Never been good at drawing them but anyway I wanted to redo an old drawing (Which is still popular for some reason) but I just went off the idea and did this, I'm happy with the background but Shadow seems not as badass as I wanted.ΒSo yes was meant to be a redo of thisΒ fav.me/d8s0ljr

Aw c'mon, don't put yourself down..this looks great! The background and lighting is nice and Shadow looks very different but unique in your style. Some people go way overboard with making Sonic characters way too humanoid and it falls into uncanny valley (*cough* Sonic movie *cough*) but you strike a really good balance with them imo.

Oh no I'm not its just I like to call out my flaws before someone else does :'D He did look normal but I wanted him to look some what neutral? Eyes just wanted to be apart ;u; I might be guilty of that, I like to give them a neck but I have limits, Be cool to see how they would look in my anthro style but with the whole sonic movie monster it just isn't worth that risk.

Ah, I getcha. Not gonna lie, I do that to hhhh. I think I get what you were going for but this looks cool anyway, so don't worry about it. And naw, the neck is fine, actually. I honestly believe necks could work with Sonic characters, we are just so used to seeing them without necks that it becomes weird seeing one that does have it. But there is probably some way of including them without it looking weird.Β
The Sonic Movie design just doesn't work because it is TOO much like a human. Like with all the pronounced calves and realistic human teeth and stuff, blegh lol. I'm sure an anthro design would work if it doesn't stray too far into the human features side of things, y'know?Β
