Took long enough for this one to return eh, I’ve been binge watching a good majority of the Brenner and BWBA episodes for the past few months before redoing this.

Updates:
12/14/2022: Found a new one with better icons
4/30/2023: Added Flying Scotsman, Moved Timothy, Rebecca and Philip from Good to Okay, Moved Kenji and Dexter from Okay to Don't Care For and most BWBA characters to that tier.

Favorite:
Stephen: Stephen is a very awesome character that feels like another natural fit to the series. His personality is enjoyable and amusing, especially whenever he roasts someone, it's honestly funny to me.

Amazing:
Glynn: He just goes in with the Ulfstead gang. He and Stephen are such a good duo.

Great:
Gator: For his limited amount of time, we got to learn a bit about Gator and I enjoyed his friendship with Percy.

Merlin: Easily the best new character from Journey Beyond Sodor, he had a good character, potential and a neat design that fits with his persona.

Skiff: A pretty adorable railboat and had a decent arc in SLOTLT.

Bradford: I wish he appeared in more episodes, as I'm pretty sure he would've stopped Samson from doing stupid shenanigans.

Millie: Another very well written character. I enjoy her dynamics with other characters like Stephen or Luke.

Rex, Mike and Bert: I'm so glad that they were brought into CGI. They're personalities are solid and distinctive from each other. (Mike is probably my fav of the three.)

The Great Railway Show Diesels: They were only in one scene in JBS, but somehow, their personalities hit home for me.

Good:
Ryan: Visually looks cool (even though I'm not the biggest fan of purple), but is a pretty unique character to me. Pairing him up with someone like Daisy was genius.

Connor and Caitlin: Both are pretty fun characters and are quite different from each other. I just wished they had better liveries.

Flying Scotsman: If only he made more appearances as his banter with Gordon is just amusing.

Theo: He didn't do too much in JBS, but he was fine for who he was as a character.

Frankie and Hurricane: Their dynamic is cool, and they were great villains in JBS (up until the end of that movie) . I would have liked to see them again at some point.

Big Mickey: Dude's visually iconic, that's it.

Ace: Like I said in the Movie Rankings tier in BWBA's section, he honestly worked as a good antagonist and an intentional bad influence on Thomas. I found him mildly enjoyable. In fact, I'd go as far as to say Ace was one of the few good parts of the movie.

Brenda: Call me crazy, but Brenda is honestly fine to me since I relate to her wanting to be neat and tidy. (Yep, I prefer her over Byron...sorry)

Gina, Rajiv and Yong Bao (They're being ranked together as I liked them for the same reasons) These three were the lights of the BWBA seasons for me. Especially Yong Bao, because of his origins with a tiger in Season 24 which was really good. (Really says something when a international episode is the best of that season for me)

Vinnie: I just think the concept of a steam engine being nasty to a diesel is pretty cool. Plus, can we agree that visually, he looks cool. I sort of wish he was in a couple of episodes.

Shane: He's only up here since I'm a sucker for the type of engine based on. He's a prick in his one episode in the BWBA era.

Duchess: Despite her one appearance, I found her to be cool. As an autistic type, I tend to be anxious to get things right, leading to my forgetfulness.

Judy and Jerome: Their episode in Season 20 made them be up here, enough said.

Okay:
Rebecca: While I still hold disdain for her replacing Henry and she's one of the most uninteresting CGI characters ever, I do think she's quite sweet and has potential. (I’d much rather deal with her then Nia, because at least Rebecca fits in aesthetically.)

Porter: He just exists as another character to work with Salty at the docks. He's pretty cool though. I don't mind him, he's just somewhat boring to me.

Timothy: Maybe if he wasn’t only around for two seasons, then maybe he would be higher.

Marion: Much like Kevin, she can be a little bit annoying at points.

Philip: Again, another character that can be a little annoying at points and he was kind of in your face in The Great Race.

Carly: She really only existed to give Cranky someone to talk to. She was fine for what she was. I much prefer her here then in All Engines Go.

Ashima: Basically Gator, just not that interesting. It's pretty ironic that she stands out visually, but doesn't do too much as a character.

Raul, Axel, Carlos, Ivan, Freida and Etienne: None of them did much in their few appearances. Raul did appear in BWBA, but he was honestly annoying and I'll give Axel this. He looks dang awesome.

Mediocre:
Hugo: He's a very boring character. His episodes in Season 20 feel like they were written out of obligation as they just exist for merch.

Lexi: She's just Marion number 2, but is even more annoying, but I can sit through her.

Reg: Again, doesn't do much. His design saves him from being lower.

Hannah: Her persona was alright, but OMG, her voice was very annoying.

Bad:
Nia: The only member of the Steam Team I don't like since she's very boring and she just exists for representation which failed miserably as there's nothing to her.

Samson: He's just a complete idiot to me and all of his episodes suck since they keep repeating the same formula of him making mistakes and not listening. (with the exception of Season 22 one which was alright since it was different.)

Beresford: His scenes in JBS just interrupted the movie and he was just annoying. Him picking up Thomas with his hook and tossing him around like a toy is just cringe to me.

Awful:
Cleo: She just looks ridiculous, her voice is annoying and she is just very aggravating to me.

Stefano: What...even is he....?! Clearly another toy. (He and Cleo were very close to being in my least favorites section, but only just missed as they aren’t as unbearable as the Logging Locos)

Don't Care For:
Sonny: His arc was Skiff's again, just nowhere near as good. He is just forgettable. (I legit like to refer to him as Engine Skiff)

Kenji: He's honestly alright design wise, but he's very boring and uninteresting.

Dexter: He was fine in his one episode and I guess he has potential, but still.

Darcy: I just find her incredibly boring.

Most of the BWBA Characters: (Yes, I know some are named liked Hong-Mei and Shankar, but they are grouped together as they all are the same to me) Literally all of these characters are forgettable, bland and have little to no personality and just exist to give Thomas someone to talk to in their respective country.
