I've been awake for almost 40 hours, whee! Make of that what you will.Fem!Shep and Garrus having snugglytime, because I've spent too much time at the forum lately. I know she can't really have that scar, but artistic license is fun that way.
Garrus is not wearing his... monocle thing... because a)he is not wearing his armor either, and b)... well, anyone who's seen a certain spoiler probably knows why I chose to set it up this way. I'll leave it at that.
EDIT: Right, so when I uploaded this, I'd been awake for forty hours and somehow managed NOT TO NOTICE that I hadn't drawn in Garrus's colony markings. I do not know how I managed that, even as tired as I was. Is fixed now. If you prefer the other version, it's over in scraps.

Pure emotion. I have to say, can't remember the last time I saw a picture of a couple that put a smile on my face. But this feels...right, pure, happy. It's a marvelous artwork.

Just played ME2... and I GOT TO DO THIS!!!! YAY!! I had my fem-Shepard hook up with Garrus.. and the funny thing was, I was actually doing the happy girl dance... and thats kinda scary cause Im a GUY!

I've never really been a fan of fem ShepardxGarrus, but I love the customization options for shepard and I've always liked Garrus.
As for the picture, its done very well. The way Shepard is reaching up and just how they're holding each other in general is a great reminder of who Garrus is and who Shepard could be. I like the way everything has been positioned and the idea of a Turian under his armor makes sense to me. I think the one thing that really bothers me is how the hump on his back is still there, I usually thought that with armor off it would either be gone or significantly smaller. But whatever, thats a nit pick.

Oh, wow, thanks so much for the detailed feedback! It's really nice to hear that you like the picture even though the pairing isn't your cup of tea.
I was lucky on the pose - normally I have to mess with things for a long time before I'm happy with them, this came out really easily. Garrus-sans-armor is actually based on a piece of official art, so Bioware gets any credit or blame for the design, I'm afraid.

Ah, well none the less this is a great piece of art.
Another thing that I noticed after taking a second more detailed work was how she seperated the fingers on her right hand to fit into Garrus's three fingers. I also wonder where the tear on her shirt came from
I've never let a pairing that I don't exactly like deter me from liking something. Part of me is intertained by the femShepardxGarrus pairing but its nothing I would chose I guess is how I would describe it.

I'm SO thrilled you noticed the fingers - I was really pleased by that bit. As for the tear, well... I like to pretend they just got out of a fire-fight (hence the bandages on Shepard's upper arm and the tear) and that the medbay staff doled out the medi-gel and now are making themselves scarce, but it's really up to the viewer. ^^

Well, they're kind of a boring detail, and not that important. Besides, you noticed the fingers! I'm still so tickled that someone noticed that, I'm going to be in a good mood all week (the ME2 release on Tuesday helps with that, too, of course! *grin*).

I just stayed up till 1:30 in the morning playing a brand new character I'm going to play ME2 with, I'm spending all day today playing the character too, and possibly tomorrow after school and before Muay Thai training.

So far I'm doing pretty good, I got up at 6 this morning (after falling asleep at 1:30) and I just got Liara. Decided for once I'll get all the characters before going to Feros and Noveria. Feros so far is my favorite planet, I love the fighting between the humans and the geth, I wish there were more "official" missions like that. Virmire was amazing too, because it was a military mission.
