Well, it demanded to be finished, I can't say that I'm totally happy though, but whoever is? It's acrylic, so I can always just paint all over it again if the urge hits me.7x11.5" on canvas paper.
Edit: I fixed my bkg up, and I'm much happier.
The particular image I referenced is by with his permission. [link] My wolf is intentionally much browner.
The whole experience of painting this has been spontaneous and wonderful. It's just so therapeutic and relaxing, despite the fact I'm painting on my floor...and my back will hate me for it next week.

Love this, I would honestly leave it like this but maybe add a few graphic splatters or something like that, it reminds me of a CD cover of sorts.

I would make copies and work with those, I just find this rather unique and different, and very workable! Best of luck!

I wish there was an easy way to make copies of traditional painted work lol. I'd so make stops and copies all along the way. Digital is very friendly for that kind of thing at least.

So beautifully realistic!! I'd say to finish it, since it doesn't look like you have too much more to do, but if you feel that you have to do something else first.... Very nice work though

Thank you! I'm so happy with this one so far. I was pretty bummed about the Wahotts trade painting getting wrecked, and I couldn't get myself going on starting it, so I did this instead.
The background is just my watered down "wash" of burnt sienna, I usually start all artwork like that just to get rid of my white canvas. Real simple

Lol thanks. I'm terrible. I think I have Adult ADD. You know I have like 5 paintings (most of them drown, rest their painty-souls) at this stage.

If you've got other priorities, then obviously do what you have to do. But this is looking nice, so I don't see why you shouldn't finish it.
