I left my TFP Soundwave figure at college ;_; He's got pretty thin wings/arms and I didn't want to risk taking him on the plane with me. I miss him D:Sketched this and slapped some colors on. Sounders without his mask. Wasn't sure what color to make his optics, though. He looked pretty with cyan ones, but they were too Autobot-ish so I went with purple-magenta ones.
Done in Photoshop CS5 with an Wacom Intuous3

Well, despite leaving him, at least you know that the Soundwave figure is safe. ^^ And yeah, like Sabath said, a lot of fans give him purple shaded optics. Which look unbelievable gorgeous on him. >3
Anyway, I totally LOVE this picture. Soundwave stands out, unlike how he's always in the back in canon lol, and I love the background have the hot pink to fading to black. Nice touch for him.

And yes, the purple optics do look wonderful on them <3 Though I do have to say the Autobot blue optics do look very pretty on him too X)

Because of my bias, I think Soundwave looks good with almost any colored optics.

I think it's 'canon' in the fandom for Shockwave to have purple shaded optics, so nothing to worry about--besides, they look very pretty on him.

I think the purple optics come from his purple bio-light things, or whatever people call them. They do look the best on him, though X)

I didn't even notice XD No biggie. I know when I was just getting into Transformers, I kept on getting confused as on who was Shockwave and who was Soundwave because the names are so similar.
