Description
This is a quite old one (2003). But it has to be sufficient to be my first "deviation". The succeeding ones have to be scanned anew, I suppose ^^°. The current scans are just too bad.Originally this was a birthday present, so I gave it away (I won't have the opportunity to "re-scan" it, so I can upload it now without regrets ^^°
.For the BG I used acrylic paint. The fishy looking one in the middle is coloured with coulored pencils and felttips.
I worked about 12 h to finish it. Its size is about 25 x 35 cm.
Though it's that old and not at all what I might call "up-to-date" concerning my current style ...eh... Well, I'm always happy to get comments ^___~

Sweetness and light! I'm really into deep sea animals and I love the two dragonfish swimming together.

niccccce. i love the closed-in deep sea atmosphere this creates, especially with the chick up above you. her hair is spectacular, you've done well to create the underwater swirling look; and i love the detail on her arms. i did feel a little empty with the other little sea creatures though, their hollow, white-outline appearance left me with an "unfinished" feeling, a little colour would have been nice i thought. they do nonetheless look cool though. the chick is quite a mysterious and strangely alluring creature, i feel that i wish to communicate... connect with her little world.
