Description
"Angel-flying is a natural job! However, its not simple at all. In case the student will not believe in fatality, that he is an angel ... he will crash! He will crash into the tree, the wall, the chimney, into pretty women. So, the main base of successful flights is FAITH. Only man who believe, is ready to fly free..." Peter Burda.Related content

wow.. i totally this one
on the crit note..
the shading on his face goes on the neck is a tad too linear way.. that is, it ends in a straight line rather than one that contours the shape of the back of the jaw.
on the woo note...
it's such inspiring work.. the outlay and composition are so lovely and the added text sits perfectly with it
cheers

You know, i've always had this obsession with flight. I think that's one of the main reasons I got into digital artwork, the possibilities are so freeing, you can make yourself fly anytime you want.
This is an excellent shot! I love, ABSOLUTELY LOVE the colurs as well, which is something you mastered.
I love the way the shadow hides the identity of the figure, almost as if it is irrelevant who this is, and the only thing that matters is the freedom that is achieved in this second you captured in this photo.
So here's another to add to your vast collection

this series is wonderful just today i found out about the older ones in your journal. lovelylovely. you make intrigueing pictures that are full of emotion and beauty.
i love the way he jumps, it looks wonderful and works well with the description. for some reason i associate these jumping naked cloth carrying persons to children, their imagination and ability to "fly" and believe. and run around naked and enjoy every moment of it. i wish i could do that too.. maybe next summer i will but this is not as happy and carefree as the other one i commented a while ago, but there is still something same in it, just a little more serious - or more purposeful. the other one is of freedom, this jump is more dynamic and has a meaning - it's not just for fun, but a leap of faith. and i'm babbling again, but it's just because i really really like these

Nice It reminds me of the photos of the Czech photograopher Jan Saudek. But this one is better, Saudek is not my favourite

hehe thanks. Comparing my photo to Saudek's is abit of a stretch though I love his work. Wish I was able to see things the way he could.

That is a very interesting style, and quite inspiring. Are you a photographer by trade, or a hobbyist?

I'm strictly a hobbyist. This was shot with a 300$ compact 3.1 mp camera.

i really enjoyed this piece - i saw it at school and had to wait till i got home to view it. It just made me laugh watching this nude guy with the cloth behind him jump into the air. I think catching the whisp of sand at his foot made the shot infinitely more interesting. the lack of face and "wang" make it much more effective as well - i think the intense emotion of the shot would have been lost being able to see it (unless he can get a crazy ass smilish look on his face)
awesome job - i envy you!

Nice....very unusual, very unique, and very compelling. I especially like the way the entire front of the figure is obscured. And I like that the sky seems to have a sort of texture, giving it a little more surrealistic feeling. Great piece of work.

"given birth to creep cannot fly" - M. Gorky (hope i translated it right)
ok... it was a joke
but really, i think it's very positive photo - gives us some faith
of course your background and colour effects are also amazing

I'm sure "he will crash" even with faith.
It's an interesting concept and a great photo. A pleasure for the eyes and the mind. Mine, just love it.

what a sweet, sweet capture!! And you got your inspiration back!
This is really really well done, i love the color tone, i love the dust kicking off from the ground (wish my cam could catch that kinda thing lol it'd just be a big ol blur on mine), and the thought behind it is AWESOME.
Excellent work

No, inspiration has not returned actually.. This is an old photo, from last summer actually. In desperation to submit something I had to dust off the photo-archive Was surprised when I found this, cuz I quite like it.. Must have overlooked it when I came back from that vacation.. Afterall I had around 600 photos with me home
