The AT-AT main blaster barrels have an alternating "recoil slide," so each gun recoils (slides back) as it fires.Β Because the shots are alternating left to right, one gun is typically retracted while the other one is fully extended.Β So this image depicts one gun in the retracted (recoiled) position, while the other is fully extended.Β I hope that answers your question.Β Β Β
