Description
The Onager-class was designed and built around two massive weapons which run, side-by-side, down the center of the ship. The Onager-class can fire super-heavy composite beam turbolasers or gigantic particle cannons. Either way, these bombardment weapons are devastating! I've seen images of the Onager firing its weapons in an alternating fashion. I wonder if it is designed to fire "both barrels" at the same time. While the weapon seems to be designed for planetary bombardment, under the right circumstances it seems like it could be devastating in ship-to-ship battles as well.
