Description VALKIS:  “What is the meaning of this, Pang?”

PANG:  “Lies!  The human tells you only lies!”

VALKIS:  “I say that he speaks the truth!  Nothing that this human has said contradicts the story that you have told us.  You were cowards to believe you needed to go back in time, and wipe out the Federation before it began.  Can you not see that the Klingon Empire has thrived over the past century?  Look at this ship!  Do you not believe your own eyes?  Even now, the Empire has entered into an alliance with the Federation.  Not an alliance of weakness or capitulation, but one of mutual strength!”

DRAKE:  “Thank you, Captain Valkis.  Your actions show you to be both brave and wise.  How shall we proceed from here?”

VALKIS:  “I have just transported Captain Pang and his entire crew into our brig, and taken the Bat’leth into tow with our tractor beam.  We will teach our misguided brothers what it means to fight with honor.  Here, in your future, we have a mighty foe known as the Borg, upon whom they can test their bravery and prowess in battle.  I assure you, this ship and her crew will be of no further concern to you or to your Federation.”

DRAKE:  “Thank you, Captain.  And thanks for the glimpse of the future.”

VALKIS:  “You are most welcome, Captain.  Even in our time, we Klingons know stories of the great U.S.S. Constitution, and her many adventures under the command of Fleet Captain Matthew Drake.  I must say, it has been an honor to have the chance to meet . . . a legend.  Safe travels, Captain, . . . and Qapla’!”

DRAKE:  “Safe travels, Captain, . . . and Qapla’!”

anyone who has played the earlier (trek) board games would tell you that the klingon battleship type ships came out before the federation ones, I forget the name, but it was expensive and had four engines, so the fed canceled them after a near half dozen were made, which goes to make the klingons even more formidable (if not downright sinister & creepy).

Eagle-eyed viewers may notice a Federation/Klingon alliance logo on the starboard side of the Negh'var.  It was strategically cropped out of the previous image.  I guess Captain Pang was so eager for back-up that he failed to notice it.
