For anyone squinting to read the aurebesh text on the side of this ship, it reads, "Republic Navy." And the text on the aft section reads, "Rescue."

It should be "New Republic Navy".

"New Republic" would be more like an unofficial slang term used in the GFFA. Official name on letterheads etc would probably be something like "Second Galactic Republic", with "Republic" for short when it comes to vessel markings. No point wasting paint on excess lettering lol
