i don't get why Edd is so afraid or rather disgusted by Marie, she is the prettiest of the kanker Sisters... she matches with Nazz.
i have to say that DD is by far the best looking Edd... but doesn't automaticaly mean he's hot.

Well, his floodgates of fangirls & his being paired with, not just Marie, but also Nazz & Sarah, prove that he is quite arguably, the most popular.

I think the forwardness would be most terrifying to him. He has a hard time handling it when other boys violate his personal space.. Aggressive sexuality must make him recoil with fear. He can barely LOOK at Nazz..

I mean, when he's speaking to Nazz he has to turn away most of the time to even get the words out. If he can barely deal with -talking- to a girl, then he's most certainly going to be overwhelmed when he's being forced upon by one. LoL

Ah, lets see. I got to do a lot of revisions/character design stuff on the Halloween special as I was one of only 2 revision artists at the time and they were trying me out for design too; and in seasons 5 & 6 I had at least a small hand in every single episode... except for "Tween A Rock & an Ed Place" on which I don't think I did a single drawing.
Episodes I was involved with on a larger scale were: Tinker Ed, Every Which Way But Ed, I Am Curious Ed (stayed up for 3 days toward the end), Truth or Ed, This Won't Hurt an Ed, Smile For The Ed, A Town Called Ed, A Fistful of Ed, May I Have This Ed, Look Before You Ed AND finally, the Eds & Johnny sequences in the movie.
Its a VERY collaborative effort on that show though. So there are some episodes where you could be looking at a different artist's drawing every time the character changes their expression. In other words *awesome*. Very organic.

Being a storyboard artist must be tough and time consuming but totally worth it after seeing the final product.

Well, though he knows of puberty & its stages, especially when it affects the opposite sex, he himself is massively shy & awkward when around the opposite sex, so Marie being completely come-on agressive kind of intimidates him. That's not to say he may not secretly like it on down the road, though.

NO. He's straight. Just massively awkward around the opposite sex. As one who speaks from experience, I feel kind of sorry for the guy. But at least he gets the one Kanker that is drawn reasonably attractively, with a kickass goth-punk attitude to boot.
