Description So, here's Felix - high as a kite on catnip and all cuddly-cuddly-cuddly. Oh, yes, such a cuddly little monster!
My personal favourite part of this photo is how he sort of hugs the catnip with his tail. He just won't let it go.

A conversation on cats? How do you mean?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Locovate In reply to RavenMontoya [2014-07-15 18:05:37 +0000 UTC]

Like, a...conversation on cats. xD
Anything cat related shoved in to a conversation.
Questions about them, comments, dislikes and likes, etc.

RavenMontoya In reply to Locovate [2014-07-15 21:07:13 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I thought that was what we were already having. But sure, what do you like/dislike about them?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Locovate In reply to RavenMontoya [2014-07-15 21:45:15 +0000 UTC]

I like that they can be so fluffy, cuddly and playful, yet they can sink their claws in to you just as easily.
Damn claws. ;~;

What about you?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RavenMontoya In reply to Locovate [2014-07-15 22:50:22 +0000 UTC]

I love that they have such big personalities when you get to know them and that it takes a while for you to gain their trust. I think some people doesn't like that, but I do because then I feel like I've earned their friendship and that feels good.
Claws are bad, yes. But mine are quite good at not using them. I trained my cats a lot when they were small so they should know some ground rules: Do not bite or scratch my hand! It's not okay. They understand that, most of the time. Of course, accidents happen when they get super excited while we play sometimes, but nothing really bad. I don't miss the kitten claws though. Like needles! Ouch!
I don't like when they hunt and kill birds or squirrels. I like birds and squirrels. ;__;

Squirrels and birds are too cute. ;_;
I hate when cats give you "little gifts"

I should have trained my cat. But she's really feisty.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RavenMontoya In reply to Locovate [2014-07-16 10:59:12 +0000 UTC]

Yes, the gifts can be a bit nasty. Gizmo and Oliver likes to bring home snakes. I don't like snakes, but someone has to save them and there's only me around to do it. o.O;

Feisty cats can take a lot of work, but it's not too late. Just keep working with her and she'll grow into it eventually. They all get a bit calmer with age too.

Locovate In reply to RavenMontoya [2014-07-16 13:34:34 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I've heard that.
I hope she does get calmer with age.

And ooh snakes? I don't see snakes where I live, probably because it's usually busy where I am.

Ahhh ... lucky Felix! I'm not sure if catnip can grow in our hot humid tropical climate. My cats only have dried catnip ... placed in cotton-cloth pouches, which they munch on, toss around, drag out into the garden, and sometimes drop into their water-bowls!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RavenMontoya In reply to pergamjee [2014-06-25 12:54:26 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, I'm not sure where catnip can grow.
It spreads like a weed here, but it doesn't like when it's very dry and hot outside. Humid and tropical might work. You should try it if you can get your hands on some seeds.

Yay for eBay though! (I shop a lot at eBay.) I hope the seeds grow and turn into cat seducing goodness in no time.

The day spa also offers a nice roll in dry, soft dirt. It is very healthy for the fur.
Luckily for Felix he can visit the spa every day since my flower beds are full with catnip. Sometimes I find the neighbours' cats there too. I'm the neighbourhood drug dealer for cats.

That song's quite catchy.
