I swear, I am so far behind the times that I think I'm actually traveling on a different chronal pathway altogether.This was fun to do anyway.

You were right on the three. I think this has been up long enough that it's ok if I spill the answer key:
Samus Aran(Metroid), Ratchet(Transformers), MetalMan(MegaMan), Booster Gold and Blue Beetle(Justice League), Jill Valentine(Resident Evil), Master Chief(Halo), GERDY and Sam Bell(Moon), BeachHead(G.I. Joe), Daryl Dixon(The Walking Dead), and Garrus Vakarian(Mass Effect).
Honestly, I wish I could have even added more. I have so many favorite characters from so many favorite things, it's a circus. Always a pleasure to meet another BeachHead fan though! I swear, if that sexy southern man doesn't get an issue of G.I. Joe: Hearts and Minds made with him, I'm going to write SUCH a letter to IDW. He is the perfect kind of character archetype for that sort of gritty, brutally real, and honest kind of writting. If you haven't checked that series out, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's, like, almost hard to read, but you turn the pages so expectantly; it's fantastic.

I alo hope he does as well, I personally love thay mini series. I was so happy that they have him as a main character in the newer version of GI Joe. It is so nice to see him more often. And yes the accent is one of the reasons I fell for him in the series as a kid. I wish they had made more of the cartoons.

Yes. Yes, it is about damn time he landed a bigger role in the forefront. In terms of ranking among the Joe brass, he's really not too far from the top (fifth man in, I believe). Plus he's just such a long running and well known character.
In terms of Hearts and Minds, he's such a raw character archetype with so many strong motivations, despite a harsh life. That's why I think he'd be so fantastic for it.
As for that smooth whiskey voice he's got? Aw ye-ah. I can never get tired of it. I'm such a sucker for men like him. Not pretty. Rough, hairy, and smelling like dirt, gunsmoke, and sweat that's just inherently masculine. Which, on a crazy sidenote, he probably doesn't ever smell bad because he's so insanely healthy. I'm an athletic person, but friends of mine who're really serious into working out and leading healthy lifestyles - they sweat a lot like everyone else, but they never smell bad. I read somewhere that the acrid scent of sweat is mostly due in part to poor dietary choices and reduced physical activity.
(I'm probably in pretty deep if I'm fantasizing about what the man smells like. =_= )

It is alright I know how you feel. I always dream about how it would be to be his lover. He loves chalenges and does not give in easy and has the patience of a saint. I always see myself trying to get him angry by playing pranks or trying to outdue him. haha fun dreams

Dang, girl - you know how it'd be. That man'd bring the same intensity to the bedroom as he does to anything else. It's the ultimate beauty of him; a man that's so complexly simplistic that you could both predict any outcome countered by his nature and somehow still feel surprised at the end of it all.
His whole personality is so desirable that it's hellishly unfair to remember he's fictional. I completely hate that.

Like it isn't enough that he probably wasn't this real guy that maybe Larry Hama knew in the service and he built Beachhead to be completely based on him. It's not enough to know that. It's also absolute fact that he just will never be. That's just sand in the eyes.
Though I have completely figured out why geek boys always seem to complain that there aren't enough geek girls. It's not that we're not around, we're just hopelessly blind to much of reality by the broad shoulders, gorgeous eyes, and perfect manliness of fictional men.

I knew 7 and 9 would be tricky for folks; and yes, 10 is a Mass Effect character. Actually, that's Garrus Vakarian, who I've taken as my lover in the game. Heck yes; sexy apex predator alien man. Totally not weird.
7 is actually Sam Bell and GERTY from the movie Moon [awesome movie that I give all my loves too. ALL my loves]. 9 is Daryl Dixon from Walking Dead, who is played by the gorgeous sweetheart Norman Reedus, that I definitely don't love in any kind of way that's clinically worrisome, but is certainly marginally to moderately obsessive.
